"Baby bear?"

I jolted from surprise, my mind coming back to the present moment.

Taehyung arrived in the living room, panting and sweating, already pulling his sweater above his head.

I must have been tipsy, I did not hear him arrive at all.

"Are we having wine?" he smiled, brushing his blond hair in the back, noticing the glass of red I had in my hand. "Nice! Let me get some for me."

I looked in his direction with a dizzy stare as he was heading for the kitchen.

In the semi-darkness of the living room, I was sitting on the couch, my head sinking deeply into the soft cushions.

As soon as I hang up with the immigration lawyer earlier, I decided to open one of Tae's wine bottles.

I needed a drink.

Really? Marriage? I'm only 24.

I closed my eyes, pressing my fingers against my temples.

You're gonna be 25 this year, I heard a little voice in the back of my head.

I thought of my parents getting married at that same age.

What was the other option again?

Live on a tourist visa?

How was this a viable solution? I wanted to live in Seoul with Taehyung, not be on the run all the time, having to book a flight every three months to get a new stamp on my passport, hoping the immigration office wouldn't find out about me...

I sighed, looking outside the glass window to the beautiful night skyline.

There has to be another solution.

"What's wrong?"

Again, I did not notice Taehyung arriving next to me.

I must have been more intoxicated than I thought.

He placed his wine glass on the coffee table in front of us, sitting next to me.

"Did you drink half the bottle alone?" he chuckled, caressing my warm cheek. "Are you tipsy already?"

He gently poked my cheek and I snorted.

"I'm OK..."

I leaned against him, taking a long breath from his perfume.

I wish I could just stay like this all day.

Taehyung stroke some strands of hair behind my ear, his cold fingers running on my flushed skin.

"You started the party without me..." he whined, his soft lips pecking against my forehead.

I smiled, looking up to him with hooded eyes.

"I thought we needed to celebrate..."

His eyes were sparkly as if he was thoroughly enjoying the sight of my tipsy self.

He tilted his head to the side, a slight smile on his lips.

"What did you want to celebrate, baby bear...?"

I ignored his questions, caressing his hair, his face, his neck... my greedy fingers not missing a single spot to cherish.

He let me play with him, sinking into the comfy cushions of the couch, still smiling for himself. He even closed his eyes, remaining completely still as I was caressing his porcelain skin.
