I could feel Micha's worried eyes on me, her fingers pressing around my arm, trying to appease me.
I opened my eyes again and my hand reached for the minibar inside the car.
"Are you OK?" she asked in a weak voice as I gulped on a small bottle of water.
I licked my lips, slowly nodding.
"Just angry at her," I answered, my eyes glued to the ground.
Micha released a long sigh, two fingers coming to rub her temples.
"This is all my fault. I should not have told you-I mean," she immediately corrected herself, her voice getting higher under the stress. "I mean, I should have told you earlier or later. But not now. It was a terrible idea..."

She blinked, her big brown eyes looking at me with apprehension.
She really has no idea how much I love her, does she?
My fingers pushed a strand of her hair behind her ear.

She swallowed with difficulty, her eyes blinking fast to the ground.
"About what Yejin said-"
"Don't worry about it."
Her eyes looked up with surprise.
"I trust you."

When the Dispatch scandal happened, I spiraled my way into assumptions and insecurities, thinking everybody was lying to me. Thinking Micha was lying to me. I thought I was going mad.
For my own sanity, I had promised myself I would never let that happen again.
"I will never, ever, not believe in you ever again."
We looked at each other for a long second, both knowing which incident I was referencing.
"I know the mistakes I've done before..." I spoke again, my hand coming on her knee. "But now... No matter what happens..."
I wanted her to know we were stronger than ever. Nothing and no one could ever jeopardize the trust I had in her.
"You'll always be the one I'll believe in first. Not even myself. I trust you more than anyone else. If you need to keep some stuff secret-"
