"you okay if I go?" He asked. I lifted my head up off his lap and moved it to the pillow
"Yeah."
"Do you want me to send Michael up to come see you?"
"I'm fine." I said weakly
"You want anything to eat?"
"What's going?"
"I can order something for you. You want a pizza?"
"Yeah." He nodded and pulled up the app on his phone "You wanna go home?" He said out of the blue.
"I don't want to. But I think it's best." He nodded whilst ordering it on his phone before finally looking back up at me.
"It's on its way now." He said before standing up to walk out "And it's just an idea that me and Mikey spoke about. You don't have to. Just come to me when you're sure yeah" the way he just intertwined it in our conversation put me at ease a little. I still didn't wanna talk about it though.
"Will you bring my food up?" He chuckled and I smiled at him knowing I'd changed the subject at least for now
"Yeah lex. I will. Or you could come down?" I shook my head "Again. Just an idea."
"Thanks for staying with me though."
"Not a problem. I actually quite like ya." He said sarcastically
"Gee thanks. I actually quite like you" I responded causing him to laugh
"I'll be up with your food when it's here Madame."
"Damn right you'll call me Madame."
"I'll stick to lex thanks."
"Or sweetheart. Or love. Or any other nice names. I like em. Kinda sweet."
"Yeah whatever you say... sweetheart"
"Fuck off Adam. I'll see you later"

Adams POV
"How is she?" Sam asked. I sat down next to her on the couch
"I don't know. Not good. I think we're gonna go home soon though."
"Well you're welcome to stay here anytime."
"Thanks. I just don't think I'll be able to help her if she's here. That sounds rude I know-"
"Adam love that's fine. Mikey's just gone for a shower and will be back down soon."
"What was she like when she first came here. Before she met us? Properly that is. The first time we actually met was her 16th but we didn't really become close till she left."
"She was quite quiet. Would always cling to Dom like glue. She hasn't really changed much. She needs someone there for her a lot of the time. It became me when Dom left after a few months."
"Do you know why?"
"Did she ever tell you in depth about her past?"
"Not really. But I know everything I need to."
"It's probably that then."
"Do you and Mikey want a beer. Tents down but we could still go out and have a campfire." Justin suggested "Take your mind off Lexi for a little bit"
"Sure. But I'm not getting drunk. It'll scare her."
"Okay. I'll make sure you don't yeah?"
"Yeah"

Lexis POV
I heard the door open and close then the bed dip gently at the end. The window was open just enough the hear the boys laughing outside so it didn't take a genius to figure out who it was.
"Lexi?"
"Yeah?"
"Your food came." I sat up and she put the pizza box on my lap "How are you feeling?"
"Numb. Like when Dom left the first time."
"You'll feel better. Adam said you're going home."
"Yeah. I think it's best. It's normality." She nodded "but I have enjoyed being here. And I'll come back. But last time I left it was like leaving my heart. So I couldn't come back. And I'm sorry"
"Don't be. You are doing so well to get through this. And you've got little one on the way soon."
"Yeah. I guess." I took a slice from the pizza box and pushed it over in her direction. She took one too "Are they drinking?"
"Yeah but Justin said he's not letting them get drunk. It's just to relax them. They seem to be bonding."
"Yeah. Me and him are too."
"Good. I'm glad you two are getting close. He really worries about you."
"I know. I wanna go tomorrow. But I don't want to make anyone feel bad."
"Just go. Make it a home for you and the baby. And when tom-"
"If Tom comes back"
"And when Tom comes back" she said putting emphasis on the word "You'll be alright."
"Hard to think of that now." We are in strangely comfortable silence and after a couple slices I closed the box "Take that down to the boys. I know that's why he ordered a big one. And tell them I wanna go tomorrow."
"Do you want either of them to come up?"
"No. They've been drinking. But I'll see em tomorrow. Thanks for letting me stay here with you."
"Don't worry about it." She stood up and kisses my forehead "You can go to sleep now. I'll let the boys know."
"Tell them night." I said sleepily "and dad too."
"I will. Goodnight Lexi bear."
"Night mum"

"You up?"
"Yeah." I said quietly "Why?"
"I just brushed my teeth and shit. And it's not on me so you mind if I come over?"
"No." I heard the door softly close
"You had any sleep?"
"Yeah. Don't think it was long though."
"S'alright"
"Did she tell you?"
"Yeah. She did. And me and Mikey figured out that we can do it tomorrow. We're going home lex."
"I wanna see Dom. Did he tell you that?"
"Yeah. And we can do that if you want."
"I want him to come here. Well, to the house not here."
"Okay." He said softly yawning quietly after
"You going to bed?"
"Uh yeah. I just wanted to make sure you were okay."
"I'm good. I've been better but I've also been worse." He didn't seem too sure and was reluctant to leave me "You wanna stay? Tom used to do that when he wanted to know I was okay. Sleep on the floor or on the other side of the bed"
"You wouldn't mind?"
"Not if helps ease your mind."
"Yeah. I'll stay on the floor." I handed him a pillow and the pointed to the wardrobe
"There's some blankets in there." I said sleepily
"Okay love. You go to sleep." I couldn't settle until he was comfy on the floor. He looked up at me and smiled "You'll be alright."
"I know. I just wish Dom was here. Honestly I'm ready to just forgive him for everything. Does that make me a bad person?"
"No. It makes you the bigger person if anything. I'll call him when we get home yeah?"
"Probably better if I call him. Don't think he really meant what he said." Adam nodded and closed his eyes "Night"
"Night lex. Try and sleep because we will be going early tomorrow."
"I will."

Doms POV
My phone buzzed which made me jump. It hadn't done that in a while and honestly I didn't think anyone even wanted to bother me. Colson did though even though I knew it was just so lex didn't have to worry. I unlocked my phone and saw Lexi had texted me
'can we talk?'
I read the text a few times a little confused. Why now? Had she forgiven me? Was she willing to have me come back home?
"Just text her fucking back man" Colson said making me quite literally jump up out of my seat. He started laughing
"Fuck off Kells." I said
"Look you can sit and think all you want but she's not gonna tell you what she wants if you ignore her. Besides, she can see you've read it now."
"Don't pretend to like me Colson."
"What do mean pretend? I wouldn't have you in my house would I? Stop talking that shit."
"You'd tell me if ya did though. Wouldn't ya?"
"Uh yeah" he said sarcastically "Now please text back so you can get out of my fucking house" he whined though I knew he was joking
"Sure. Right yeah."
"You're so British. I love it."
"Fuck off and go bother your friends or something."
"Have fun" he shouted through as he left the room
"Hope so"
