4 Too Fucking Scared

"lex? Lexi bear are ya sleeping?" I didn't respond to him on purpose. I was tired but I could easily walk up the stairs to bed on my own I just didn't want to. Besides I knew he'd stay with me if he carried me up.
"She's out of it mate" Adam said
"Hmm yeah" Dom said clearly skeptical "I'll take her up to bed"
"You staying up there with her?" Mikey asked him
"Uh yeah probably. Is that alright?"
"Yeah. We good to stay down here?"
"Yeah that's fine. Night" they all said goodnight back and Dom carried me upstairs to his room "right cmon you ya can get yourself dressed for bed" I giggled as he set me down on the floor
"I'm in your room so what am I gonna wear? Why am I even in here anyway?"
"Oh wow you're really observant for someone who's sleeping. And your bed currently doesn't have a blanket on it. And the duvet got wrecked with blood since it's the closest room to the bathroom." He hung his head which broke my heart a little. Still I smiled nonetheless.
"It doesn't matter now. Besides your beds bigger" he lifted his head back up and smiled
"You can wear a hoodie of mine. And grab a pair of shorts" he fumbled about in his drawer "oh wait I think these are yours" he held up a set of pyjamas that consisted of a vest top and shorts before getting up and handing them to me
"I'm ready" I said once I'd finally put them on. He took his hands away from his eyes and smiled
"You actually tired or are you lying about that too?"
"Listen if you're gonna whine you can just go back downstairs" I climbed into bed "wait is this my blanket?"
"You weren't here to cuddle with me" he said getting into bed beside me "I wanted my little spoon back" he nuzzled into my neck as he wrapped his arms around my body
"You're cuddly but not normally like this. Something bothering you sugar?"
"Not anymore." He yawned loudly causing me to giggle since his breath tickled the back of my neck "just go to sleep"
"You got into bed with me remember."
"It's literally my room."
"But you wouldn't want Lexi bear to freeze without a blanket would ya?"
"And you wouldn't want Dommy to push you out of bed but that's what's gonna happen if you don't go to sleep"
"Try it" he pushed me right to the edge but pulled me back just before I fell "Doesn't count. You caught me" I said finally settling down
"Always lex. I always fucking will" he mumbled sleepily as he tightened his grip and pulled my back close against his chest
"I love you" I said softly unsure if he was asleep or not "my best friend always"
"And forever" he added sweetly
"And forever"

I awoke to a bright flash of light in the dark room.
"Shit she's awake"
"Adam what the fuck are you doing?"
"You both looked so cute so I was taking a picture."
"With the flash on?" I couldn't help but find it funny despite the fact he'd woken me up
"Sorry lex" I heard from behind me. Soon enough Tom stepped into my view
"It's alright. Ya meant no harm. Better be a cute fucking photo though or I might get ya back"
"Please leave" Dom groaned
"That's our cue out of here" Tom said walking out and taking Adam with him
"Can't they leave us alone for one minute?"
"Not so fucking loud my head hurts. How are they even up so early?"
"No one got drunk except you." He whispered gently "We all just had a casual drink that's all. And the boys called it quits when we came to bed" I turned over to face him
"Will you get me a drink if water and some painkillers please"
"Sure. You coming down with me?"
"Are the boys gonna take the piss out of me for being hungover"
"That's a stupid question. You know they always do"
"True" I cuddled into his chest "I think I wanna stay here a bit first though."
"Being in bed all day isn't good."
"Just admit it Dominic you like cuddles" he tucked me even further under his neck by resting his chin on top of my head as he chuckled lightly
"I do." I sensed a second part "But I also like making sure you're not wasting the day away. Not like I was. So cmon get up we're gonna get you recovered and then we can do something"
"Swear to fucking god Dom" I cursed sitting up. "You..." I poked him harshly in the ribs "are gonna be the death of me"

"Good morning sunshine" Adam greeted sarcastically
"Fuck off Adam" I mumbled taking the piece of toast from his plate "Cheers love"
"Fuck off that's mine. Give it back"
"Make me" I prompted
"You're on" he chased me round the kitchen eventually managing to grab me from behind causing us both to giggle and me to drop the slice on the floor
"Oops looks like no one's getting it now. Better luck next time" he let go of me and chuckled
"Just pick it up will ya? And wipe the butter from the floor"
"Why it would be funny as fuck to see you slip on it" I did as he asked regardless and then he handed me a fresh piece of toast from his plate "thanks" I took a bite out of it
"You're welcome Lexi bear" he smirked clearly thinking he was funny
"Fuck off Adam" I spat walking out the room

Dom's POV
"What's up with her?"
"It's a special thing. She doesn't like it when other people say it. I've told you this before but you still bring it fucking up"
"Awe I was just messin about"
"Not messin about when it upsets her though is it?" I rolled my eyes and went to go find Lexi. She was sat on the bottom step of the stairs looking lost
"Hey love. You alright?" I sat down beside her
"He can't say that. I love him but he can't say that."
"I told him."
"Don't be mad at him. He was just teasing me. But that's something only you say" she started to well up so I brought her into a hug
"What's all this about hmm?"
"I could've never heard you say it again." She started crying so I held her tight "I nearly lost you and that's something so fucking special to me now because you're still here to say it"
"I messed up I know but-"
"Stop fucking apologising!" She yelled. I jumped a little at her outburst but still didn't let go "I'm sorry. It's just not your fault alright?" I nodded and stayed with her a while until she calmed down
"Why don't you go and talk to the boys?"
"Aren't you gonna come with me?"
"Yeah I will. Just give me a minute."
"No I'm not leaving you al-"
"I will be okay lex. I'm not going to leave you. I'm just going to get a quick shower" I pulled her away from me and gently cupped her face "you will be okay with the boys alright? And I will text you when I'm done" she nodded and I kissed her cheek gently "salty" I remarked making her giggle "that's my girl. Now go on. Go talk to Adam about it"

Lexis POV
"I'm sure he's okay" Adam assured me though even he looked nervous
"I'm going up" I said
"You can't do that"
"Fucking stop me!" I shouted back already halfway up the stairs. I reached the bathroom door and tried it but it was locked making me instantly feel uncomfy "Dom? You alright?" I got no response so I knocked on the door "Dom? You're scaring me" I still got no answer which caused me to panic and I went to bang on the door when it suddenly opened. Dom was oblivious with his airpods in and a towel wrapped around his waist but noticed me immediately
"Hey what's wrong?" He took them out and tossed them aside before goading me over into a hug "Did I scare ya by not answering?" I nodded "just got a bath that's all. And I put those in to calm myself down. Sorry I didn't hear you"
"Why'd you need to calm down?"
"Seeing ya so fucked up got to me. So instead of stressing you out more I sorted it out myself"
"I thought... I thought you-"
"I know what you thought." He leaned down to my ear "let me get dressed and I'll be right with ya okay?" I nodded and let go "meet you downstairs"
