94 Like He'd Seen A Ghost

Tom looked like he'd seen a ghost. He didn't move. Or breathe. That scared me slightly but I was so filled with anger I ran at her. Tom seemingly snapped out of it only to grab me by the waist and pull me back towards him. He rested his head on my shoulder and rocked slightly until he felt I was calm enough. He then twirled me round and put his forehead to mine
"Listen darlin' I'm gonna need to you to go outside. Can you do that for me yeah?" He tried to sound calming but his voice was breaking and I knew he was scared "Lexi you listening?" I nodded weakly and he gently put his hand on the side of my face holding it "Go on."
"I don't wanna leave you Tommy-"
"Only I call him Tommy" Jess butted in
"You can shut the fuck up!" I shouted turning back around after because Tom moved me round again.
"Lexi calm down. Go sit in the back yard. I'll be out as soon as"
"She fucking hurt you Tom" I pleaded
"Wait?" Adam said "She fucking hurt you? Like what does she mean?"
"Fuck all to do with you" Tom quipped immediately turning his attention back to me. I knew the whole room was watching us. I could picture the sly smirk on her face as I fell apart and Tom was terrified "You need to go." He looked up behind me "Mikey's gonna take ya okay. So you're not alone. But I need to have a conversation with the people in this room. And tell Sam to stay in the kitchen with Justin."
"Why cant-"
"Lexi there are plenty of opportunities in life to argue. And this ain't one of them. Go with Mikey and do as your fucking told." His voice was calm and slightly shaking but I knew it was a final warning of sorts "I fucking promise that I'll be right out as soon as I'm done yeah? And we can go for a walk and talk about it."
"Okay." He smiled slightly and kissed my forehead
"Now go on. Mikey's going to take ya." I turned around and Mikey held his hand out for me "Lex I need you to go" I took Michaels hand and he guided me out the room. I couldn't hear what anyone was saying but I heard Tom yell
"You do not bring Lexi into this fucking conversation!" Before I was whisked away by Mikey to go talk to mum about what was going on.

Toms POV
"Tommy I swear I'm sorry for everything i-"
"Do not fucking talk to me!"
"I'm not your submissive little bitch like she is!"
"Yknow what if she wasn't pregnant I'd let her have at it! But I actually care about her! Get the fuck out of this house now!"
"No! I'm here with my friend!"
"Abi love she can't stay" I said calmly since it wasn't at all her who I was mad at.
"Why?"
"Yeah Tom." Adam said through gritted teeth
"I'll go if she goes." Abi said almost a little unsure of me
"Fine! Fucking go! All I want is her out of this house!"
"I'm going with them." Adam spoke up linking his arm with his girlfriend. I walked right up to him and stuck my face in his

"What?" I moved away from him to see Lexi stood in the doorway
"Lexi darlin' I told you to go outside."
"My bad." Mikey said
"Your bad?" I asked trying to contain my temper
"I left my phone and she wouldn't let go so I came back in quickly."
"That doesn't matter." Lexi said in his defence "You don't care if you don't see me or little one ever again."
"Oh come on Lexi you know he wouldn't actually carry out the threat."
"But you said you don't care. Right after he said that you'd never see us again."

"But what? You. Still. Said. It" she spoke each word as a sentence and grew a little more angry each one she got to "Leave and don't come back."
"Lexi please" he let go of abi and went to walk over to her but she walked out and back to where she was supposed to be "that's unfair I didn't know she was gonna be there"
"Yeah? Well she was though wasn't she?" I began walking away "Just get out the house Adam. And don't ever come back"
"All this over some petty little spat with your ex girlfriend?" I lost it at that and both of the girls moved away from him as I launched a punch right at his face
"Feel that pain? Must really hurt huh? Now imagine that pain mentally! Being scared of the one whose supposed to love you! Tommy this, Tommy that! You don't know what it was fucking like!"
"Cmon man it's not-"
"She fucking raped me! Multiple times!"

"Oh you didn't know? How sad. Now get out of this fucking house and don't ever come fucking back."
"Can I say bye to Lexi?" I laughed
"Fuck no. Out. All of you." They all stood and looked at me "Scram!" They made a start at grabbing their things "And don't ever come back"

Lexis POV
"Lexi darlin'." I lifted my head up from where it was buried in Mikey's shoulder and saw Tom there
"Gone?" I said simply, sounding more like a toddler
"Yeah. Gone. Am I okay to leave you here with Mikey? I've got to go pack Adams shit."
"Yeah. I'm fine. Be back soon though." I nodded "I, uh, spoke to your mum. And she's fine with everything. Gave me a hug but that's not the point. Justin asked if you wanted to rearrange tonight."
"No. Tell him I'm alright."
"Okay. Be back soon"
"I can go pack his stuff?" Michael suggested.
"Stay here. Tom can go pack it. He needs space."
"How do you-" he began but Tom interrupted him
"She just knows."
"Fair enough. Ill keep her safe. Promise"
"You don't have to promise. I trust you. I shouldn't be long." He smiled slightly at me before walking back inside.

He didn't come back out. And Mikey checked the time realising we'd been out there for two hours. I walked up to the room. The door was open slightly and I opened it just a little more to see Tom lay on his front sobbing into the pillow. I didn't know what to do and since he was facing away I just stood in the doorway
"Sam just told me what he said"
"I'm gonna leave him"
"Go in. Go lie with him."
"No. Because I can't see him like that Mike. It breaks me."
"Well your mum said that we are welcome to come help her with the shopping. Come along with her just to clear your head."
"Sounds better than watching him cry"
"Cmon princess." He opened up his arms and I walked into them to hug him tightly "I love ya." I pulled away from the hug quite quickly
"Mums gonna get impatient."
"Yeah okay let's go."
"And I love ya too. But I didn't wanna stay in the hug and break down."
"I know. Cus I know you. But seriously let's go cus Sam when she's impatient is not fun so let's go" I laughed and closed the door of the bedroom quietly hoping I didn't alert tom "Hell be alright Yknow."
"Yeah. I know. I'll still worry though"
