Tom's POV
"Hiya Tom love. You look rough have you slept?" Sam asked quietly. It was early but not too early for the house to start waking up.
"No. Not since we left the house in LA."
"How about I get Justin to keep an eye on Lexi while you get some sleep?" She didn't give me a chance to argue and soon returned with Justin in tow
"Give her here mate." He said walking over. I shook my head and kept a firm grip on her not wanting to let go just yet "I'm not going to hurt her. Just gonna put her up in our room. And then I'll be right back down."
"You can't. She's relying on me Sam. You can't take her."
"Listen I think we need to talk." I looked up at her as she spoke "You being like this. It's not healthy. And I know you love her to pieces but you got to take care of yourself too"
"You mind?" Justin asked softly. I didn't expect it. Not after the way I've heard he could be. I kissed Lexi on the forehead and slowly let go allowing Justin to pick her up "That's it mate. She's gonna be alright yeah." I nodded and he carried her off upstairs.
"Listen tom-"
"I don't know what to do"
"What's playing on your mind?"
"She's so broken." I said feeling the tears well up in my eyes at just the thought "I can't do it Sam. I just want to fucking fix her and I can't."
"You're doing your best for her."
"But it's not enough and that hurts."
"Listen I'm not going to make you go to sleep. But I think you need a break." I nodded
"But I don't want to leave her."
"It'll be okay. You don't have to constantly worry about her."
"That's what Dom did. Til he fucked it up."
"I'm sorry. For what he accused her of."
"Don't be sorry. You raised him right. I don't think he meant it but he's going though a lot of change so I guess Ashley got him while he was vulnerable."
"Change?"
"Lexi is pregnant." She gasped "But you can't tell her I said anything. She'd kill me. I just need to keep them both alive. Cus that's my job right now."
"Tom love. Is that what's bothering you? You think she's gonna-"
"Yeah. I do. And after almost losing one of my best mates I'm not about to lose another. Sam I fucking love her. More than I love my fucking self." I wiped my eyes with the sleeve of my hoodie I was wearing "Sorry to dump it all on you like that"
"You've been holding that in for a while haven't you?" I nodded "I wish Dom would talk to me like that. I don't half worry about him."
"I'm sure he's fine. He's probably on his way over here soon. I need to go check on Lexi"
"Okay." She said taking a deep breath "But listen if you need to talk you can come to me."
"I will. Thanks for listening."
"It's fine honey. Anytime."

Lexis POV
I woke up to the bed moving. The bed I had no idea I was even sleeping in until that specific moment. I knew it was Tom because he was the only one that dared to get close to me since everything happened.
"Lex? Are you awake?" His voice broke as if he had been crying
"Yeah. You kinda woke me up"
"Sorry." I turned over so I was facing him but he had his back to me
"It's alright. You sound like you've been crying. Are you alright?"
"Yeah. I'm fine. Just came up to check if you was alright."
"Then why are you facing away from me? Tom you can tell me. It won't go any further than here."
"I'm scared I'm gonna lose ya both."
"You don't have to worry about that. The last time I felt like that was a long time ago. I'm doing better now."
"I know. But that don't mean I won't." His voice was getting higher as if he was about to cry again "I just need a cuddle. And some sleep."
"Well I can't be big spoon cus I'm tiny so I suggest you turn over" he laid flat on his back and chuckled "What? It's true."
"Nah. I'm just tall."
"Please get some sleep. Even if it is in the bed of people I basically consider my parents."
"I see why you love Sam so much. She talked to me while I just broke down."
"Well hopefully now you're tired."
"Been tired since la. Just haven't slept since I needed to watch you." I layed my head on his chest and he stayed still for a moment before leaning down to nudge his cheek against mine softly "I'm gonna go sleep yeah. But wake me if you need anything" I chuckled
"I will. Promise. Now get some sleep."
"Can you stay there though. So I know you're alright."
"Yeah. Right here." He smiled and closed his eyes pretty much falling asleep straight away he was that tired "Fuck Tom. You really did drain yourself."

The door to the room opened but I didn't bother looking up to see who it was. Besides I don't think I couldve if I tried since Tom was making damn sure I was staying there
"Hello?"
"Oh. Did I wake you up?"
"No. I've already had enough sleep. It's him who needs to get more of it."
"You wanna come downstairs? We are watching a film. Dunno what it is but I let Izzy pick so it's probably your kinda vibe"
"Uh I don't know. I promised Tom I'd stay." I heard Tom let out a lazy chuckle
"I'll be fine. Go with him."
"You sure?"
"Yes Lexi"
"Ooh alright. There's no need for the 'yes lexi' is there?" I joked. He gripped my shoulder and pushed me off him making me giggle
"Now fuck off. I want to sleep." I rolled my eyes and went to turn my attention towards the door but Adam had gone "Go talk to him."
"I kinda don't want to go down now. What if he's mad at me."
"He's not. Trust me. Now go. Or else I'm gonna kick you off the bed."
"You wouldn't" he tapped my leg with his foot lightly "Alright alright I'm gone."
"See you later yeah"
"Ok. See you later."
"I know you're worried about him but maybe he just needs ya too."
"Yeah. Maybe."
"Go and see. I'm only up here if you need me."
