As the group of hunters came to a decision, Mr.Song said, "Alright, everyone, since we decided to go ahead and deal with the boss, let's head out already. We need to get back as quick as possible." With that, they started to walk, at first everyone was excited, but then they soon got bored, so they began to talk amongst themselves.
"Hey, we should go shopping after this."
"Totally. I need a new weapon soon anyway."
"I'm going to go hit the gym. I need bigger muscles and more stamina to keep up with the killing spree of the mages."
"Must be easy being a physical styled hunter. Mages have a harder time expanding their mana."
Jin-Woo, Magnus, and Ju-Hee were also talking with each other. Mostly, Magnus and Ju-Hee, as they compete with each other for Jin-Woo's attention.
"Jin-Woo, after this, stop by the cafe. I have the cake both you and Jin-Ah like." Magnus started with a strong move.
"No. Jin-Woo, you need to come with me so we can buy you something durable so you can protect yourself better." Ju-Hee countered. Even going so far as taking a jab at Magnus, calling the weapon he conjured up for Jin-Woo fragile and not capable of even protecting its user.
"My weapon is quite durable, plus how can you buy him a weapon when you barely live off of the subsidies the hunter association gives us hunter." Magnus bits back, jabbing at how Ju-Hee can't fight. Therefore she doesn't have magical cores to sell. No cores, no money.
"Jin-Woo, if you truly want a weapon, I can go with you to buy one. You don't need Ju-Hee for this matter." Magnus states proudly. Feeling like she can't win this argument, she concedes on the challenge of attracting Jin-Woo's attention. She just turns quiet and sulks on the side. Magnus had on a proud smile, 'Ha, this bitch thinks she can win against me. Think again, you hoe, I will take you out of this race called 'Seeking love from Jin-Woo.'
Like that, the trio kept walking, except this time, Jin-Woo was utterly confused because the conversation started and ended with him having no say in anything. He was about to ask Magnus, but he noticed how the taller male was smiling brightly. 'You know what, never mind. As long as he's happy.' Jin-Woo didn't even notice how he is slowly but surely allowing more and more Magnus illogical arguments with the many ladies who try to approach Jin-Woo if they are not Jin-Ah or his mother.
Magnus, on the other hand, was on cloud nine. He had won against Ju-Hee, and Jin-Woo didn't reprimand him about it. Getting a little bolder, Magnus goes next to Jin-Woo and wraps his left arm with Jin-Woo's right. Getting Jin-Woo's questioning gaze, Magnus explained with a shaky laugh, "Hahaha, we don't want you to get lost now, do we?" 'Fuck, even a five-year-old can tell I'm lying.' "Sorry, I'll take my hand back."
"Nah, it's fine. Just don't walk too quickly, or you'll be dragging me." Jin-Woo responds with a smile. 'Did he just allow it? Is this a subtle way of him acknowledging my advances? Nah, he probably remembers how I used to do this when we were kids.' Magnus had a bright red blush, but then he cooled down instantly because of the thought. He didn't care, though, because he got to hold Jin-Woo's arm. Focusing back on the group of hunters, Magnus heard their conversation.
"Aren't we going too far in?"
"How long did we walk?"
"About 40 minutes."
"The gate closes an hour after the boss is killed, so we would have about 20 minutes to make it to the exit after we kill it." Someone said, earning many nods and sounds of agreement.
"Hey... Sorry." Jin-Woo said, out of the blue.
Magnus was about to say 'for what?' but Ju-Hee beat him to it.
