[YOUR DESIRE FOR STRENGTH BURNS BRIGHTLY ENOUGH TO CALL THOSE WHO WANDER THE VALLEY OF DEATH. THE ARMY OF THE DEAD THAT FOLLOWS YOUR COMMAND SHALL CREATE A PATH WHERE YOUR WORD IS LAW, AND YOU WILL NEVER AGAIN NEED THE HELP OF ANYONE ELSE.]

'... Army of the dead?' Jin-Woo suddenly turned pale as he looked at his class. "Wait! What's this...? This is... My class?"

His eye bounced from left to right, right to left, as he kept rereading the system notification. "This can't be fucking right... right?" Jin-Woo slowly regained color as he read the words of the system notification right infront of him. "What the fuck was the system thinking when it assigned this class to me?" Jin-Woo sounded defeated, as if he had just accepted his fate.

[YOUR CLASS IS "NECROMANCER"]

"Wait, it doesn't make sense. It said it would take into account my stats, and yet my intelligence stats are the lowest of them all... So how the fuck did it give me a mage class?" Rubbing his temples, Jin-Woo started taking deep breaths as the system continued to explain the class.

[NECROMANCER: MAGIC SUB-CLASS

GRIM MAGICIANS WHO LEAD ARMIES OF THE UNDEAD.]

As Jin-Woo read that description, he had a mental picture of the stereotypical archetype of the necromancer. It would be a moody magician with a hooded cape covering its frail body with an orb in hand, or a strong warrior-type magician wielding a scythe as if messengers for the God of Death. They would have legions upon legions of monsters of the undead class under their command. Simple servants without thought nor feelings, only obeying the commands of their master.

'I don't know if there are any hunters who are necromancers, but in games and stories... they are a class who leave most of the fighting to their minions.' Jin-Woo had a grim look as he kept thinking, 'Ever since I registered as an E-rank hunter, I've been a close-range type.' Looking down at his bandaged hand that was still holding Slayer, he exhaled a deep breath as he muttered, "From the beginning, I've only used swords and daggers, either made from steel or from Mags ice. Plus, all the skills I've learned appear to be for assassins. So why was I given this class?"

Jin-Woo was staring intently at his list of skills, which included his Passive, Active, and the newly acquired Class skills.

"Okay, let's think things clearly... Maybe it's not too bad. I mean, Mags is a mage archetype, and yet he fights close range, like me." Jin-Woo tried looking into the bright side of things as he kept repeating to himself that it would be fine. "If I had to pick out the pros of being a necromancer... Probably the fact that you can build an army... as the system said." Jin-Woo imagined himself like the magicians he had just slayed, enjoying the thought of personal bodyguards, but then something shocked him.

"But the caster himself can't get stronger. Like those fucking magicians I just killed. What if my stats become useless?" Jin-Woo started panicking as he looked at his stats, hoping they hadn't moved since acquiring the class.
