"That's right; he's nothing like me...." Magnus muttered as he followed Jin-Woo to stand next to Ju-Hee. Making eye contact, he asked. "How's the old bastard?" Shocked at Magnus's relaxedness, she responded with, "H-he is stable now. But shouldn't I heal you too?" "Stop acting as if you care and focus on that old man," Magnus said as he proceeded to ignore her and watch the duel between Song Chi-Yul and Kang Tae-Shik.

'Since I'm a magician, I need to be mindful of the strength, stamina, and agility differences between him and me.' Song Chi-Yul said as he was laser focused on Tae-Shik. The buff Chi-Yul received from Ju-Hee disappeared for a split second. Then, as he was about to turn, he felt it once more. 'Hopefully, she doesn't get distracted again...' he thought as he narrowed his eyes, watching out for any sudden movements that Tae-Shik might make.

'Even though Miss Ju-Hee is protecting me... It's akin to installing a car engine on a bike and pedaling as hard as I can. It's like there's a steep downhill slope. If I don't control my speed, I will probably die the moment I hit a large curve.' Noticing the slight opening, Tae-Shik dashed at Chi-Yul, hoping to take advantage of the opening.

Tae-Shik appeared in front of Chi-Yul in a split second, striking from above. Surprised, Chi-Yul barely managed to raise his sword to deflect Tae-Shiks' strike, resulting in a sharp ear-piercing noise. "Naturally, a magician will be at a disadvantage against an assassin, so bringing out a weapon might seem like a good idea...." Tae-Shik says as he lands, rushing up once more.

Being prepared this time, Chi-Yul blocked Tae-Shik's strike, struggling against the B-rank hunter. "But in the end, you're still just a magician." Tae-Shik mocked as he applied more pressure to his strike. "If your physical abilities aren't even as good as those of a D-rank... or that fucking brat, will brandishing a weapon make a difference at all?" Tae-Shik finished with a smirk.

Magnus heard all of this, nodding along until he was called a brat again. 'The fuck...! I am so going to fucking murder that asshole, only my baby, Jin-Woo, can call me that.'

Ignoring the many comments that Tae-Shik has been spouting, Chi-Yul keeps the resistance against his assailant. At the slight slip up, Chi-Yul deflected Tae-Shik's dagger once more. However, his next move surprised Jin-Woo and Magnus. "Hmm, not bad for an old man...." Magnus said as he crossed his arms. Jin-Woo didn't say anything, only nodding at Magnus's comment.

With a sharp hissing sound, Chi-Yul did a vertical slash at Tae-Shik's location. The attack's precise and fluid-like motion is what surprised the duo. None of them had ever really paid attention to Chi-Yul's swordplay, so seeing it now was shocking. "It's almost as if he's proficient with the sword," Jin-Woo muttered as they realized that blood wasn't drawn.

Slashing down, Chi-Yul responded with, "Having a weapon... Certainly does make a difference." Realizing that he cut at an afterimage, Chi-Yul got back into a stance. As Tae-Shik reappeared a few feet from Chi-Yul, he said, "You move well! Although you've been buffed, I can sense a lot of practice in your movements."

"For a split second, he managed to catch up to him," Jin-Woo commented, earning a nod from Magnus, who had an ever-growing smirk. 'This is going better than I expected....'

Not wanting to wait for Tae-Shik, Chi-Yul decided to take the initiative. Dashing up to him, Chi-Yul did a diagonal slash, not earning him the reward of blood. Tae-Shik dodges his sword easily, doing a backflip to land on his feet. 'If I can go just a little faster...' Chi-Yul thought as he noticed his prey got away again.

Smirking, Tae-Shik continued his commentary. "Fast and precise... Not bad! Not bad at all! It seems abandoning magic in favor of a melee weapon really was a good idea." With the sound of a blade cutting through the air, Tae-Shik appeared a few feet behind Chi-Yul. "But that's just it. A good idea." Tae-Shik smirked, with his eyes glowing a slight lilac color as he turned back to view his creation. "If you think a little, you might realize why there aren't any magical swordsmen among the ranks of hunters."
