A BAD FEELING. PT.2

'This sound...!' A look of horror appeared on Jin-Woo's face as he yelled: "They're insect-type monsters!!"

"Bingo! I knew you would know." Magnus complimented him for figuring it out. He knew as he had participated in raids where they faced insect-type monsters. "But the question is, which kind?" He asked as he stood in front of the tunnel closest to Jin-Woo, the rich boy, and himself.

"INSECT-TYPE?! ARE YOU SURE?!" One hunter couldn't help but yell.

*DUN*

"COULD THIS BE AN ANT NEST?" Another questioned, horror slowly donning all of the hunter's faces.

*DUN*

"D-DON'T SAY THAT!" Another stuttered as he yelled. He doesn't know how they would be able to handle it if they were inside an ant nest.

*DUN*

The thumping sound could be heard and felt coming from all directions. As the sound seemed to be coming closer, Magnus seemed to be the first one to notice something amiss. Turning towards His boyfriend, and asked him, "Baby, I know this isn't fair of me to ask, but... I was wondering if you could sit this one out. I just don't want you to get hurt. I mean, I know that we need to get stronger, but I don't think these people need to see you in action. *Now, I don't know if the system gives us XP by slaying monsters outside of its self-generated dungeons, but I would really want to prioritize your safety and secrets before anything else. So, please let me handle this?*."

"Sure, but do be careful," Jin-Woo replied as he gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Where should I go, or what should I do?" He asked, tightening the grip he had on the bags. "Thanks for agreeing. You can just stand there. I'll protect you." Magnus replied with a smile that seemed to sparkle. One could say he learned something from the himbo of the group.

'Should I...' Magnus thought about something as he turned and looked in Jin-Ho's direction. "Hey, himbo," Magnus called out. Confused, Jin-Ho turned to him and pointed at himself as if to ask 'Me?'

*sigh*

"Yes, you. Do you want to witness what the hunter with the nickname 'Dragon Reaper of Ice' can do in combat?" Magnus asked as he air quoted his nickname with a disgusted look on his face. Jin-Ho's eyes lit up as he hurriedly nodded his head and said, "Yes, please." "Then go with my baby. Remember, he's taken." Magnus ordered him, but not before reminding him that Jin-Woo is no longer single and he's taken. "I know," was the only response he got back from Jin-Ho.

As Jin-Ho arrived near Jin-Woo, a barrier made of ice appeared. Intrigued by this barrier, Jin-Woo goes up to it and knocks on it. Jin-Ho noticed how the temperature stayed the same, even though they were surrounded by ice. "Hey, doesn't it look a bit fragile...? Also, is it just me, or did it not get colder?" He asked Jin-Woo. "Oh, that's normal. Mags can control the temperature of his ice. Also, the barrier may look fragile, but it's actually durable." Jin-Woo answered his questions as he went back next to him, ready to watch the action. "Oh, okay... That's cool."

As all this was happening, the other hunters were in disarray.

"THE SOUND IS SO CLOSE." 'I didn't know you could see sound.' Magnus thought as he made his way towards the center.

*DUN*

"WHAT? WHY CAN'T I SEE THEM?!" 'Maybe cause it's too dark, duh.' Magnus replied in his head, more focused on the task at hand.

*DUN*

"THERE ARE TOO MANY TUNNELS!" "No shit, sherlock.' Magnus took in a deep breath as his scythe started to radiate a white mist.
