"How many minutes until your wounds heal? Your leg..." Tae-Shik continued but was interrupted by the surprised and shocked voice of Jin-Woo. "Mags?!" Jin-Woo managed to hear the low mutterings of his boyfriend, causing him to turn and face him. Magnus's state only caused shock and worry to appear on Jin-Woo's voice and face. What came into view was the scene of a thick and dense frost enveloping his boyfriend as if trying to protect him from the terrifying pressure around him. This pressure was equivalent to gravity being increased five times, causing the ice and ground to shatter as they concave under the pressure. Magnus's glowing arctic blue eyes were the only parts visible, apart from the trail of blood that seemed to pool in the indents caused by his many steps.

Realizing that he was no longer the center of attention, Tae-Shik simply looked in the direction of the brat and was terrified by what he saw. If Jin-Woo managed to catch glimpses of Magnus, then Tae-Shik only saw the ghostly incarnation of a frost demon that seemed to be aiming at ending his pitiful existence.

"Mags..." Jin-Woo started, causing the deranged Magnus to halt midway through his next step. The once hazy and insane eyes of Magnus turned clear as he heard the worried voice of his baby. Magnus struggled to turn his head in Jin-Woo's direction as if Earth's very own gravity denied him this view. "Mags... come... let me look at you..." Jin-Woo wanted to stand but struggled due to his severed tendons. When Jin-Woo uttered this sentence, the terrifying pressure that caused gravity to increase around Magnus disappeared. If Magnus cared to look, he would have noticed that his quest's prerequisite had faded.

With the disappearance of the pressure, the frost surrounding Magnus slowly faded to fill the surrounding space. His health points no longer decreased with every step he took. Noticing that his movements had become lighter and more natural, a hint of joy was seen as he dashed toward his baby.

'Shit. Fuck. They can't join forces.' Tae-Shik thought as he dashed, trying to intercept Magnus from reaching Jin-Woo. 'If one of them is already difficult to deal with, I can't let them join forces.' A sharp icicle around four inches wide and ten inches long quickly materialized near Magnus and was soon shot out with deadly accuracy. 'FUCKING SHIT!' Tae-Shik cursed as he narrowly dodged the fast-approaching icicle. 'Fuck, I fucking forgot that little shit is a mage cosplaying as a brawler. Fuck.' Tae-Shik was relieved that he dodged the first one, but to his surprise, his body moved out of instinct as he escaped another icicle. Turning back, the view that greeted him made his blood run cold. In Magnus's trail, tens of icicles materialized and quickly shot out toward their target. 'Shit, fuck. Why can this little bastard make so many icicles?! How can he control all of them so accurately? Was he just fucking toying with me earlier?!'

As Tae-Shik struggled to deflect and dodge all the icicles, Magnus quickly approached his baby. Of course, his icicles were made purely out of instinct, as he felt malicious intent towards his baby. Naturally, this made him want to draw his enemy's blood for even thinking of attacking his baby in front of him. Approaching Jin-Woo, Magnus completely dispelled the frost around him, afraid that he would freeze his baby.

"Jin-Woo..." breathed Magnus as he raised his baby into a standing position, supporting his leg with a layer of ice that cooled the nerves and stopped the blood from spilling. "Mags..." Jin-Woo responded as he squeezed the man in front of him. His head right above the other man's heart, enjoying the sound of a slowing heartbeat. "Fuck, baby. I was so worried... I wasn't able to move; I wasn't able to be by your side; I wasn't able to protect you like I said I would, I-I... I failed you..." Magnus rambled on in a shaky voice, his body trembling, his eyes watery. "I am so sorry baby. I... I really did try coming to your side; I really did; I tried since the instant he displayed his killing intent... I just wanted to rip his head from the rest of his body, but I wasn't able to... Something was stopping me; I felt so weak, weaker than the double dungeon incident. At least then, I was able to fight back, able to protect and support you... But you being injured right before me made me realize how ridiculously weak I am. You were just a few feet away, and I couldn't even reach out to you... I couldn't hold you... I couldn't protect you even though you were right in front of me.... I'm sorry."
