"In that case, let's see you slither into your demise."
*FSSSSSSAAAAA*
Kasaka opened its mouth and showed its two piercing fangs at Jin-Woo as if responding to his taunt. It had started to uncoil itself and revealed its entire length. Then, it began to raise its head and a portion of its body upwards in typical snake fashion. It went so far up that its lower face had been shadowed by the plates that protruded from above its glowing orange eyes.
Above its name showed above its head [SWAMP'S RULER, BLUE POISON FANGS KASAKA].
"Huh, so your name is Kasaka. You have such a long title; guess it's to match your length." Jin-Woo commented out loud as he strained his neck to look up and make sure he was reading it right. 'A sword won't pierce those scales, and punches won't have any effect either. Could Mags pierce its scales with his scythe? Would magic even affect Kasaka?' Jin-Woo thinks as he starts examining the body of Kasaka while standing in the same spot.
Kasaka, at this point, is irritated that the human who invaded its swamp has just been standing in the same spot. Deciding that it has had enough, Kasaka lunges forward at breakneck speed, with its mouth open, letting its two fangs show. Those two fangs shone a dangerous glint, menacing Jin-Woo. Kasakas mouth was open wide as if trying to swallow Jin-Woo whole.
"Shit." Jin-Woo curses as he barely managed to avoid getting swallowed whole. As Kasaka kept going forward, Jin-Woo tried piercing it with the remains of his sword, but all his strikes would be bounced off of Kasakas scales as if it was an enraged lighting unicorn. 'Shit, I need a super-fast attack with some weight behind it. Maybe that'll pierce through. But, at the same time, I have to weaken this guy's defense... but how?'
At this point, Jin-Woo was huffing and puffing like the big bad wolf from that one bedtime story. As he was trying to gather himself, Kasaka was coiling up, creating pressure within itself in order to increase the power of its next strike. 'How would Magnus deal with these scales?' Jin-Woo thought to himself but was able to form a coherent answer to that as he was swatted away by Kasakas tail slap that hurt even more than the first time due to the pressure Kasaka built up. However, he did manage to lessen the strike due to him blocking it with the remainder of the sword.
Truth be told, the sword is the real MVP in this battle, for it has not been shattered yet.
Jin-Woo got sent skidding away, but what he saw next was Kasaka lunging towards him. Jin-Woo then jumped to the side, but it was as if Kasaka predicted this because the remainder of its long serpentine body was writhing along the way and was smacking all of its surroundings.
*BOOOOOOMMMMMM*
*BOOOM*
*BAAAAM*
Not expecting this to happen, Jin-Woo was caught off guard when one of those movements went his way. All he heard was *SHWOOO* before barely managing to hold it off with the sword he still had and still hasn't been completely destroyed.
*SSSKKKRRRRR*
The only sound that Jin-Woo could currently hear was a ringing sound. The same sound that some movies would play after a grenade has been detonated. "SHIT! I MIGHT DIE IF THIS HITS ME DIRECTLY!!" Jin-Woo yells at the top of his lungs in an attempt to get his hearing back. He was still holding back the strike by supporting the blade of the sword with his arm, but Kasaka moved its body upwards as if mimicking the parry move.
*CLANG*
Not expecting this, Jin-Woo's arms got repelled upwards following the momentum. Kasaka took this moment to fully enclose Jin-Woo with its serpentine body. 'Why do I feel like it's toying around with me?' He thought as the cobra-like reptile kept encircling him. He wasn't necessarily wrong, but he wasn't right either.
