On the other hand, Jin-Woo did not speak but instead stayed focused on the settling dust. Once it settled, he finally said. "Careful your bloodlust does not spook them."
"You're right, baby," Magnus said. 'I won't let them get away. I'll make sure they won't get out of this gate alive.' Even though Magnus suppressed his need for blood, he still kept his wicked smile.
Once the dust settled, the group of deserters came into full view. Leading them was none other than Hwang Dong-Suk. The scene he walked into was one he never suspected could happen, causing him to stop in his tracks. The rest of his attack force processed what they were seeing. Since their leader wasn't speaking, they decided to voice out their disbelief.
"What? These guys are still alive?!" The hunter with an afro questioned loudly.
"Is the boss dead?!" Was the follow-up question that the brown-haired hunter asked.
After this question, the rest of the hunters couldn't help but question the current situation. They refused to believe the fact that the three hunters standing in front of them could take down a C-rank dungeon boss. Who could blame them for their disbelieve? Of the three, one was known as the world's weakest hunter, another one was a newbie, and even though Magnus had taken down a 'dragon,' he shouldn't have had enough mana to kill the boss by himself. So to that extent, they weren't wrong.
In the forefront of the group, Dong-Suk side-eyed the flame hunter of the attack force, "Gyu-Hwan, it looks like you were wrong about the Dragon Reaper of Ice. It looks like he is more powerful than you." Hearing what his leader said, Gyu-Hwan grit his teeth together, causing an irritating noise to sound out. 'What is he trying to imply with that statement?'
"What happened?" Another hunter asked the one next to him. "Did they kill it by themselves?!" At this question, everyone just shook their head, refusing once again this possibility. The number of questions being tossed out just went to show that the rest of the attack force wasn't paying attention to Dong-Suk's and Gyu-Hwan's conversation, much to Gyu-Hwan's pleasure.
"Was that spider as dumb as it was big?" He questioned out loud to make it seem like he wasn't just accused of being weaker than a mage of the opposing element.
"With that bastard's equipment... and with the Dragon Reaper of Ice at the forefront... It's possible they could have taken down a C-rank boss." So the afro hunter said once again, finally giving in to the only explanation they could think of.
"Well, that makes sense. I guess he's not known as the Dragon Reaper of Ice for nothing. Being able to carry a D-rank noob and the world's weakest hunter." Another hunter said as he viewed Magnus from a distance. At the mention of the Jin-Woo's unofficial title, Magnus was about to lose it once again. If not for his baby squeezing his hand, he would have had that hunter's head already. After all, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.
'Jin Magnus. I underestimate you.' Dong-Suk thought with a grim expression. 'There's a small possibility that the D-rank newcomer could have helped, but definitely not that shitty E-ranker.' He eyed Yoo Jin-Ho and Sung Jin-Woo as he finished this thought. But, of course, Magnus didn't let him stare long at his baby since he moved in front of him a millisecond after Dong-Suk laid his eyes on him.
'Who would have thought an orphan would be this powerful...' was the last thought Dong-Suk had before one of his members asked him a question. "Hwang, what do we do now?"
With a wicked grin of his own, Dong-Suk replied. "Well, we just have to win him over." With that said, Dong-Suk started to walk forward, making the rest of the attack force follow.
"Yoo Jin-Ho! I searched you up because your equipment was flashy... and it turns out you're the son of someone great!" As Dong-Suk finished his statement, everyone except Gyu-Hwan, was shocked at his comment. However, nobody voiced their surprise since they believed in Dong-Suk. So, being unobstructed by anyone, Dong-Suk kept speaking.
