At the same time that Jin-Woo got the emergency quest from the system, Magnus received an updated version of his previous quest.

Excited that the emergency quest was updated, Magnus was about to act when a strange force stopped him from moving. 'What the fuck? What's happening?' He thought as he tried to move towards his baby. Finally, irritated that he couldn't move forward, he decided to try moving backward. Successfully moving one of his legs back, he tried to move forward but was stopped by the mysterious force.

'God damn it. This is so fucking irritating. Why the fuck can't I move forward? And what the fuck is redacted from my quest? Whose permission do I need to act?' Magnus was getting even more irritated at his inability to move toward his baby. He was so irritated that he was slowly losing control, causing the room to become several degrees colder than what it had been.

Chi-Yul and Ju-Hee noticed the sudden temperature change. Mr.Kim and the hunter he was with are still knocked out, so they cannot feel the difference. Walking closer to Chi-Yul, Ju-Hee is slightly trembling as she brings her hands up and breathes into them in an attempt to warm them up.

Looking at the healer that landed next to him, Chi-Yul nods and says, "I can make a small flame if you like...." Stabbing the sword he borrowed from Mr.Kim into the ground; he was about to produce a flame until Ju-Hee spoke, "No. It's okay. I'm afraid that any change in the dropping temperature might cause him to... lash out."

Song Chi-Yul wasn't shocked by Ju-Hee's rejection but instead by the fear he could hear in her voice. 'Why would she sound like tha....' His train of thought came to a halt by Magnus's current appearance. Previously, Magnus could be considered a bloodied mess, with a thousand little cuts littering his body and his clothes disheveled, almost in tatters. But currently, Magnus looked... savage. His once sane eyes now gleam with insanity and a need for blood, Tae-Shik's blood specifically. The mist that had slowed Tae-Shik's dagger earlier, was now being rolled out of his being, causing him to become enshrouded by said mist.

As if in response to Magnus's rising rage and fury, his heart was pumping blood to support the amount of energy, he was currently trying to use. This caused the once-scabbed little cuts to bleed out once again. Even though Magnus resembled a tall human-shaped bloody waterfall, the health points depicted in the system did not drop. All of these changes went unnoticed by Magnus, Jin-Woo, and Tae-Shik. The last two because they were about to face each other, while Magnus had a single thought, 'I have to go to my baby.'

As Magnus was having a bloodied breakdown, Jin-Woo and Tae-Shik were about to engage again. "You know... Even though the system might have some flaws, I'm still thankful." Then, with tense muscles and excitement coursing through his veins, Jin-Woo finished with, "It's given me another reason to kill you." At the drop of the last syllable, both Jin-Woo and Tae-Shik dashed toward each other.

*WOOM*

*WOOM*

Their sudden increase in speed caused a small vacuum to appear in their place, and the surrounding air rushed madly to fill in the displacement. Within moments, Jin-Woo's and Tae-Shik's dagger's made contact.

*CLANG*

With a sharp clash, Jin-Woo and Tae-Shik were face to face. This clash made the air burst out; although not harsh, it still caused the room to feel several degrees colder than before. Locking eyes with each other, Jin-Woo and Tae-Shik stayed in position as they continued to strike at each other.
