"Looks like the blade's all dull," Jin-Woo said as he stared at the blade of the sword. "Weapons will lose durability... unless you're Magnus, then you'll just throw it away and create a new one from your element," Jin-Woo commented with a chuckle escaping past his lips. "Even if I purchase a high-grade weapon, it'll just end up like this once I cycle through a few dungeons..." An image of a dagger that was reinforced by a steel handle flashed through his mind.

'There was once a time where Magnus gifted me a dagger. He didn't tell me how much it was, but when someone commented that it was slightly expensive, I was devastated when I went into a dungeon and broke at the boss fight.' Jin-Woo thought as he smiled lightly at the memory of his boyfriend having a massive smile on his face when he gave him the dagger. He had told him that 'Even if the dagger breaks, don't worry. I can always get you a better one if you want. You can count on me,' were his exact words.

Back then, Jin-Woo just said, 'Sure.' That same day, Jin-Woo went to raid a dungeon with his new dagger. He managed to loot three E-rank magical cores before it broke. He didn't want Magnus to buy him a new one, so he just told him that he'd be fine without one. Jin-Woo noticed that Magnus had a look of worry and when asked why his response was, 'I'm just worried that you'll end up in even more danger without a weapon.'

Jin-Woo told him he was fine, and they left it at that. 'When I would go raiding by myself, I decided just to challenge the dungeons using only my body as the weapon.' Jin-Woo then looked at the sword, then at all the dead bodies around him. "Thanks. Thank you for allowing this to happen." He told the sword that he took from Mr.Kim.

"34 wolf fangs, two worn daggers, travelers clothes, and a hearthstone. That's more than I expected." Jin-Woo said as he was looking through his inventory. Jin-Woo was intrigued by the hearthstone since he needed that to exit from the dungeon.

"[Hearthstone]. Should I return? Or not?" Jin-Woo struggled for a bit, and then he made his decision. Clenching his fist around the stone, he answered his own question. "No. There's no guarantee that there will be another chance to become stronger this easily." As Magnus said, Jin-Woo decided to stay to become stronger.

"What happens to this dungeon after I use the hearthstone? Will it just disappear?" Jin-Woo continued to voice his thoughts as he made his way through the dungeon. "If this is something like a limited event made by the system, that could be possible."

"Ultimately, we're dancing in the palm of something we don't understand. Like a pair of Wukongs dancing in the palm of Buddha." Jin-Woo wondered if his boyfriend had even thought about the origin of the system, but true to himself, Magnus could only ever think about Jin-Woo, and maybe battles, but mostly JIn-Woo.

"Advance or retreat..." A flash of determination appeared in Jin-Woo's eyes. With a sudden movement, Jin-Woo punched the inventory screen. His hand came out empty, the [Hearthstone] already in the inventory slot.

ALERT

YOU HAVE LEVELED UP!

Jin-Woo made his way further down the dungeon, killing all of the wolves that appeared, earning him more levels. Soon, he came across new enemies. One of them was a panther with dark fur and red eyes. The other was a primate with long and sharp fingernails and dark green fur.
