"IT... IT CAN MOVE!!" Someone shouted.

"THE HELL!! WE HAVE TO FIGHT THAT?" Someone also yelled.

"AND WHAT ABOUT THE OTHERS...?!" This question brought everyone out of their shock. They started to look at the other statues in a rush, trying to see if they were also moving.

'What was the rank of the guy who died just now? A D-rank, right?' Jin-Woo thought as he stopped looking at the statue on the throne. 'Let's say he was weak for a D-rank. He would've been stronger than an E-ranker like me. But to die in one hit?'

At this thought, Jin-Woo had a realization. 'Wait... Wait a second. This dungeon is a D-rank at most. I've never heard of a D-rank dungeon containing monsters as strong as these statues.'

Mr.Song was slightly trembling, "If all the statues here can move... Don't tell me, even that one...?" He finished as he stared at the 'Lord.'

'This isn't the first time I've had a near-death experience. During my first raid without Mag, I accidentally broke away from my party and got lost. An E-rank monster struck me in the back, and I was hospitalized for weeks.' Jin-Woo thought to himself, seeming to be going through the 'life flashes before my eyes.'

'Others trade magical cores for better weapons, but I can't do that. I'm always unarmed. If I buy a cheap sword, it'll just get destroyed anyway. Mag has offered to buy me a weapon, but I can't impose on him even more. And any injuries, as long as they aren't serious, can be fixed up by a healer.'

'In this job, I'm always near death. I always closely escape from death's grasp.' Jin-Woo got a feeling, the feeling he usually gets when he is near death. "EVERYONE, DUCK!!"

Jin-Woo shouted, bringing both Ju-Hee and Magnus down with him. Some hunters reacted quicker than others. But some were too late.

The 'Lords' glowing eyes started to get brighter, and soon enough, a substantial golden energy beam shot out from them. The beam followed the 'Lords' eyes as he swept them over the hunters. As it passed over Jin-Woo, Magnus, and Ju-Hee, their hair could be seen waving in the aftershocks of the beam.

Magnus was on top of Jin-Woo, protecting him from the energy beam with his body. His back had a layer of ice melting from the beam's heat. Where was Ju-Hee? She was next to them, by herself, hugging her head with her hands in a fetal position.

As the beam finished, the 'Lords' eyes had smoke coming out of them, similar to when a gun barrel lets out smoke after a shot. The hunters were panicking, checking on each other.

"WAKE UP!!" Someone shouted to a person who had fainted.

"HEY!!" Another shouted, trying to help the first hunter to wake the other hunter up.

"You okay?" Mr.Bak asked Mr.Kim while helping him up.

"Y-yeah... you?" Mr.Kim asked back as he shakily stood up.

"I'm fine." Mr.Bak responded.

"AHHHHHHHK!!" A female hunter with a purple jacket and black hair screamed. Next to her was a green jacket hunter. In Front of both of them, the only thing left of their friend was a charred hand that still seemed to be burning.

"More than a few of us have died..." Mr.Bak said as he was looking around.

"I barely dodged that. If Sung hadn't yelled out, we could have all been wiped out." Mr.Kim said with gritted teeth.

"JIN-WOO! JIN-WOO, ARE YOU OKAY?!" Magnus's voice reverberated around the room. Having crawled out from underneath Magnus, Jin-Woo said, "I'm fine. What about you, Mag? Are you okay?" "Oh, thank goodness you're fine. I don't know what I would have done if you weren't. Yeah, I'm fine too, what about Ju-Hee. She doesn't look too good." Magnus replied.
