"Because you'll die soon," Jin-Woo responded with a flat tone. With every deflection, Jin-Woo's eyes started to glow their electric blue color. Tae-Shik's mad grin stiffened at Jin-Woo's response as sweat began to form and run down his face. 'Fucking shit. Who does this fucker think he is? Thinking he can get away with threatening me?!' He thought as he increased the speed and strength behind his attacks.
"Where's your little boyfriend? Too tired?" Tae-Shik asked, trying to provoke Jin-Woo to at least gain an opening. At his comment, Jin-Woo just smiled and said, "You aren't worthy to be his opponent, so I'll be just fine." Instead of provoking Jin-Woo, Tae-Shik was the one to become provoked.
"I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY RANKS YOU'VE RISEN PAST THE E-RANK, BUT THIS WON'T BE AS EASY AS YOU THINK!" Tae-Shik yelled, a slight purple light accompanying his every slash. Even though his attacks were wild before, they still had some pattern that they followed. But now, his attacks have become both wild and sloppy, making it easier to find an opening.
*BAM*
'With a single dagger...' Song Chi-Yul thought as he watched Jin-Woo successfully parry every single attack.
'... he's able to deflect every attack. Jin-Woo... he definitely improved.' Ju-Hee thought as she returned to healing the second hunter Magnus brought back with Mr.Kim.
*BAM*
'Damn, why is he so sexy...' Magnus thought as he bit his lower lip, watching his baby engrossed in his rage and fury towards the bastard Tae-Shik.
Taking advantage of an opening, Jin-Woo cut at Tae-Shik's location. Unfortunately for him, all he cut was an afterimage as Tae-Shik appeared next to him. "Too slow." Tae-Shik tauntingly said as he slashed at Jin-Woo.
Quickly turning ninety degrees, Jin-Woo successfully deflected his attack as he admitted, "I won't lie... You're pretty fast...." Before Tae-Shik could gloat, Jin-Woo finished, "For an old man."Besides Tae-Shik, Magnus was also able to hear what Jin-Woo said and proceeded to laugh, not even trying to suppress it. Irritated again, Tae-Shik said, "I'll show you old...." At this, both Magnus and Jin-Woo were confused. 'That doesn't even make sense...' both thought as one deflected attacks while the other just stood there, watching the fight.
*BOOM*
Magnus was the only one able to watch what was happening entirely. All Chi-Yul and Ju-Hee could see were streaks of light, one electric blue in color while the other one was a lilac color. Their minds weren't able to process the quick movements caused by Jin-Woo and Tae-Shik.
*CLANG*
"How are they able to move like this...?!" Hunter Song Chi-Yul questioned no one in specific. He just stood there, his mouth wide open from shock. "He's no longer the Jin-Woo I knew...." He whispered to himself. Of course, Magnus was able to hear it, so he turned and faced Chi-Yul.
"Of course, he's not the hunter you knew. He is officially taken." Hearing Magnus's proud voice, Chi-Yul stiffened as he carefully chose his following words. "O-of course. But what I meant was... He's definitely stronger now." Magnus raised an eyebrow as if urging for Chi-Yul to continue his thought. Seeing this, Chi-Yul just shook his head and said, "You know what, never mind. Jin-Woo has always been strong, but I never noticed until now. It's my eye's fault for not working properly."
Others might have thought it was fake flattery, but Chi-Yul knew he had to speak such flowery words, or else he might have a scythe spill his blood. "That's right. It's all your fault for not noticing sooner." With that said, Magnus turned back and watched the fight that was gaining speed. Sighing, Chi-Yul decided to just keep his thoughts to himself from now on.
