HUMANS AND MONSTERS

Standing in front of the gate, Hunter Kang Tae-Shik takes a key out of his pocket. "Let me see those handcuffs," he tells the convicts as he goes and frees them from their confines. The first one he released was a buzz-cut male with gray hair. Stretching his hands, the convict said, "Phew~ That's better." Ignoring him, Tae-Shik moves on to a hunter with a blond afro.

Annoyed, the convict said, "Do you think you're allowed to treat us like slaves? Huh?" Getting irritated, Kang Tae-Shik responded with a simple "Shut it." This simple command made all the convicts present to become quiet as they stretched out any knots or kinks they might have gotten from the trip.

"Don't go anywhere," Tae-Shik commanded as he made his way towards the group of hunters the Association called upon. "I'm Kang Tae-Shik from the surveillance department." Introducing himself, he went on to say, "You heard the explanation. I'll be keeping a close eye on them, so don't worry too much." He said this with a bored and sleep-deprived look on his face, as if not wanting to be there. Scanning the group, he asked, "Who will lead the raid today?" Stepping up, Chi-Yul said, "I'll do it." Nodding, Kand Tae-Shik just walked away after saying, "Then I'll leave it to you."

Kang Tae-Shik has purple hair; his hairstyle reminded Magnus of a porcupine, with it being a spiky animal. His eyes are the same shade of purple as his hair. He's a few centimeters shorter than Magnus but still taller than Jin-Woo. He's wearing the standard black suit that all employees of the Association need to wear.

With Hunter Kang Tae-Shik out of earshot, Song Chi-Yul turned to look at Magnus and Jin-Woo. Making eye contact with the duo, he asked, "Are you okay with me being the leader?" "Of course..." Jin-Woo said as he was confused as to why he was asking this. "Better you than anyone else...." Magnus said as he side-eyed Mister Kim.

Receiving confirmation from both hunters, Chi-Yul did a ninety-degree bow with his hand at his side. "Thank you for giving me another chance." Jin-Woo and Magnus had two different reactions. Magnus just rolled his eyes as Jin-Woo asked, "M-mister?" wanting an explanation out of the man in front of him.

As if understanding, Chi-Yul just said what he had been thinking. "If it was my fault that 11 people died... Then it was thanks to both of you that seven people survived." At this, Magnus looked at Jin-Woo with a questioning look, almost as if asking, 'Seven?' Just shrugging his shoulders, he put his attention back to Chi-Yul. "My responsibility was the greatest when it came to not being able to protect everyone. I'm bowing to thank you both on everyone's behalf. Sung, Jin, thank you."

Finishing, Chi-Yul kept his bow until Jin-Woo said, "Mister, raise your head." "It wasn't just your fault. We all agreed to go in, so the responsibility lies with us all... No matter what others try to say." Magnus continued. He didn't exactly have anything against this man; he just found him annoying.

Surprised, Chi-Yul didn't bother continuing this conversation as he had a feeling that if he did, a scythe would be pressed against his neck... again. Turning, he looked at the remaining hunters and asked, "Kim. You have no objections, right? Even if I lead this raid." Looking toward the group, Kim just started making his way towards the gate as he said, "Do whatever you like." Sighing, Chi-Yul said, "I guess we should start heading in then." Nodding, they all started walking towards the gate.

Watching Song Chi-Yul and Lee Ju-Hee cross the gate, Jin-Woo was about to do the same before Magnus stopped him. Not sure what to expect, Jin-Woo looks into Magnus's eyes as he asks, "What's wrong?" A look of worry overtook the usual carelessness Magnus had. "Baby... I... I don't think I can let that man walk out from this gate...."

'Ah, so this is what it's about...' Jin-Woo thought as a soft smile graced his face. Caressing Magnus's face, he said, "Aww, Mags. Thank you for telling me... I... I won't stop you...." Jin-Woo said as he took Magnus's hand and walked through the gate.
