What I don't think people realised is that Jules was so desperate for control and freedom, that she would do anything to get it. So as the intern Emma was assisting Rosie with controlling a patient, Jules's plan began to take action, she sneakily unclipped the pass that sat around her belt, this small flimsy card would entitle her to open almost all doors. Including the fire door right at the back of the building. Her escape.
As the support workers were busy attending to a patient in the girls corridor that afternoon, Jules saw her chance, she silently crept up to the door at the end of the hallway, but just as she was about to buzz the door open she heard a sinister snigger, "what are you doing Jules?" Take a guess who the nosy prick is that said that. Take a fucking guess. Sage.
"Do you know what minding your own goddam business is? Might want to give it a go." Jules sarcastically smirked and hid the key in her jacket pocket, turning around to reveal Sage leant against her door frame.
"Looking rather rough Julianna... what happened to your face? I mean it was ugly before, I didn't quite think it could get uglier!"
"So funny Sage, could say the same for you, ugly ass bitch, not only are you horrendous on the outside but inside as well! My eyes hurt just looking at you."
"You are so fucking mean did you know that?"
"Yes I did actually, so why don't you crawl back into your room, have a little pity party for yourself, cry if you are really hurt, then go and make an elaborate story about me to get me into trouble. Just like you always do."
"I know you are up to something, you won't get away with it."
"Watch me..."
10 minutes later, Jules was stood by the fire exit, a shiny royal blue door, was just demanding to be unlocked. Unlock it. Go on. I know you want to, just imagine the freedom. The door unlocks with the key, but in order to disable the alarm, a code is needed. Shit. You could make a run for it and hope you make it as far away as possible, before someone realises what has happened. One push of a bar. Then you are out of here. Jules had her petite hands tightly around the metal bar as she shoved it open, a ear piercing siren erupted and disturbed the whole chaotic psychiatric ward; if that was even possible.
Run.
That is exactly what she did, making it out to the widespread road, she ran and ran until her poor body could no longer take it, she could hear her exaggerated footsteps as they hit the floor and the faint alarm of the psychiatric ward. Her heavy breathing and damaged heart began to strain, while she grasped her chest in discomfort. If you build the guts to do something, anything, then you better save enough to face the consequences.
Jules you can run away from yourself as much as you want, but just remember the pain of the broken pieces that cut deep into your feet if you stay around for too long. It's as though you are being forced to walk sluggishly slow over hot coal; the burning of your battered feet can only be solved by getting to the end of the line. However imagine, if someone were to come along and pick up those pieces for you, or lift you up from the excruciating pain of the fiery coal. Then you wouldn't have to run away from yourself anymore. You could stop running. If someone sees you as something worth helping, saving. The psychiatric ward could do that for you. Tom could help you. You need to stop fantasising about running away to a new life, and actually start fixing the one you have right in front of you.
Running away may seem an easy way out, but now what are you going to do? They will realise you have gone, the police will be after you along with multiple support workers. What is your plan? WHAT IS YOUR PLAN? You don't even have a fucking plan Jules. Fuck sake. This should be fun. Sirens began to arise in the atmosphere, shit, shit, shit. RUN. The dizziness and a spinning earth was prominent but she ran, faster than she ever had before; until she was met with a fork in the road. Left or right? LEFT OR RIGHT? You do not have time for this Julianna. Right. I made the decision for you. Jules ran down the deserted road, further and further until tall hedges and overgrown trees peered into view; that seemed a great hiding spot while she made a seal proof plan. She hid behind them, while she attempted to catch up with her fast paced breathing, that she couldn't quite grab control of. Jules could feel the ringing in her ears throughout her whole body, as a large shiver escaped down her back. She didn't think this far ahead, where is she going to go? What if she gets arrested? Will Tom be mad at her? Shit Tom. She has definitely disappointed him.
