Tom

I knew Jules would struggle with her eating after the passing of her father, but I didn't think it would be this bad. Doctor Carson explained her new meal plan to the occupational therapists, basically going through how we were going to begin from the start of recovery to ease the transition, into eating 3 meals and snacks a day. Jules extremely struggled with this, she had hit a depressive episode a couple days after hearing the news of her dad passing, it became so severe that she no longer looked after her own personal hygiene. She would spend nights crying in my arms, begging for the pain to go away. It took me back to when I found her in the woods, so vulnerable and hurt, she can no longer fend for herself; she was stuck in a pit of agony and she saw no way out.

Jules began to act out a lot, getting herself into heaps of trouble, that I couldn't cover or lie to get her out of. The conflict between herself and Doctor White grew, she is what people like Doctor White call a 'lost cause', I truly do not think she is, I believe I can help her, but others are loosing hope. In the morning I usually find myself wandering to Jules's room to get her up, traditionally the female nurses will knock on all the girls doors, and open them to get them up and ready for the morning. However Jules is usually the last one to get up- that is if she even gets up. It's a fight every morning to wake her and get her out of bed.

Although this morning was different, as I made my way down the corridor, Jules's room was not pitch black like it usually was, the curtains were open and light filtered through her empty room. Empty. Why the fuck is her room empty? Where is Jules? It's not like her to get up early, to get up at all in fact. I spun around searching for another member of staff in the corridor, Rosie was in Gracie's room, I popped my head around the door, "Rosie?"

"Good morning Tom."

"Do you know where Jules has gone?" Her eyes began to grow wide.

"Um no? Her door was already open this morning, so I gathered you had already came and woken her up before me. I just assumed that the reason her room was empty was because you had collected her." Oh shit. Not a round two of running away is it? At that moment my stomach dropped to what felt like the floor, I rushed into Jules's room, bursting open her bathroom door, nothing. Nothing. Where the fuck is Julianna Hart?

I reached for my radio, "who was Jules's one to one last night?"

Anna replied, "I was, why? Is she okay?"

"Jules isn't in her room, she wasn't seen by the morning nurses, has anyone got any eyes on her?" I swiftly walked over to Rosie who was now stood in the corridor anxiously, "can you check all the rooms in this corridor for me, I doubt she will be here but you can never be too sure. There are no alarms ringing so she couldn't have left the building, we just need to find her before she does." I clicked the button on the radio again, "any sign of her?"

To which Nate replied, "i'm walking to the boys corridor, she isn't in the left wing to my knowledge, i've just passed through, meet you around the boys area Tom?"

"On my way Nate."

Doctor Carson spoke up, "sorry what is happening here?"

I replied, "Jules wasn't in her room this morning, is she with you Doctor Carson?"

"She is not, no, but I will assist in finding her." For fuck sake Jules, why do you keep doing this? Doctor Carson went to check the right wing, well other nurses scattered around looking for her. I rushed over to the boys corridor, where I was met with Nate running towards me, we burst through the door, searching in each room. Until we came to Theo's, a low murmur could be heard, I opened the door slowly to find Theo and Jules. Theo was curled up on the end of the bed, while Jules sat crossed legged at the head of the bed. How did she get here?
