The plan

Aurora POV
"Come on guys, we can still make it!" A voice screamed.

"Lilly calm down! They have been walking for hours," I told my friend.

It was true, we had all been walking for hours. Lilly and I were leading the group and they definitely weren't happy with us. We were making our way to one of the WCKD facilities to rescue a bunch of kids that we had heard were trapped there.

"How much longerrrrrr?" Thomas whined.

"Stop whining! We are almost there... I hope," Lilly said, mumbling the last part.

"THERE!" I shouted, pointing at a white building in the distance.

"Finally," Newt sighed coming up and wrapping his arms around both Lilly and my waist.

"Ugh piss off!" I said elbowing him in the stomach, making him double over.

"Um high five!" Lilly said putting up her hand for a high five.

I giggled and gave her a high five. We continued our walk over to a broken down building and we set up camp.

"We should go in the morning," Lilly exclaimed.

I nodded in agreement. She was right. If we went now, we would be walking in the dark with no light. Thomas, Newt, Gally and Vince came over to sit with us and Sonya walked over with a bag.

"What's in the bag?" Gally asked her.

"None of your business," she replied casually, handing the bag to me.

"Thank you," I said standing up and slinging the bad over my shoulder.

"Hey Aura what you doing?" Newt asked.

"One, you know that nickname pisses me off, and two, I'm going to practice," I scoffed and walked off.

Lilly POV
"Do you always have to do that?" Vince asked him.

"Pissing her off is my specialty." Newt said with a shrug.

Vince rolls his eyes and turns to me.

"You going with her?" He asked.

"Not yet, she needs some, uh, me time, if thats what you call it," I replied.

Vince nods and starts a conversation with Thomas, Gally and Sonya, when a bang is heard, coming from the direction Rora walked in. I got up and Newt sighed.

"She's fine, I bet," he said laying down and looking at the slightly weathered ceiling.

"I know that, I'm just going to practice with her," I replied, walking to the part of the building she had entered.

"OI RORA! YOU GOOD!" I yelled at her.

I knew perfectly well she was good, unless someone shot her. Then we had a problem.

"IM FINE! JUST DROPPED THE GUN!" She yelled back.

"ARE YOU HURT?"

"I MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE SHOT MY THIGH!"

I sighed, she always found a way to hurt herself no matter how safe the situation was. I saw her jump down from one of the window sills. She limped over to me with part of her shirt wrapped around her thigh and a bullet in her hand.

"See, I'm fine." She smiled.

"Yeah, fine." I said checking her leg.

"Lilly I'm fine!"

"Just making sure you can still come with us."

"I can come with, this will take a few hours to heal, trust me."

I nodded, "At least tell me what happened."

She pulled out the gun she had used, showing me the gun she said, "Look!" She pointed to the trigger which seemed to be bound with some sort of rope.

"What's this?" I asked her.

"Someone knew I use this gun, especially to practice with. They tied rope around the trigger knowing that when I take out the gun I immediately load it so I can just bring it to my hands and fire. The person who knew this, figured out a way so that when I load the gun a bullet flies out. Hence the reason I now have a bullet wound," she explained.

"Come on let's take you back and figure out who did this," I said taking the gun and helping her walk out.

Aurora POV
As soon as we made it back out, Sonya saw us and pointed us out to the boys. Great. Just what we need right now. Instead of making a plan and worrying about the other kids who could be getting killed in the facility just to find a cure, we are worrying about me, who is completely fine.

"Aura your hurt!" Newt exclaimed.

"No shit Sherlock," Lilly mumbled.

"I'll say it yet again, don't call me that," I said glaring at him.

I pushed my way through the group, well actually I limped through the group, and sat down on an old piece of furniture. Lilly walked over and sat next to me, and the rest soon followed.

"At least let us have a look to see how deep it is," Vince said trying to convince me.

"Why don't you find out who did this instead," I said bluntly, grabbing the gun from Lilly and handing it to him.

He examined the gun and the rope, nodded and walked off, taking Gally and Sonya with him.

"He knows who did it?" Thomas asked.

"Of course he does, only one person had that rope and is desperately trying to come on the mission!" Lilly said.

"I'm going to get a proper bandage for that," Newt told us pointing at my wound and walking off.

"So what's the plan?" I asked Lilly.

She always had a plan for everything, even if it was what will be for dinner the next night.

"First we need a small team, then four people will enter and two will make their way up to the cell block. After they reach the cell block they unlock the doors and help everyone out. Getting in is easier then getting out though. So to get out, the kids must be snuck down one of the stair ways and out the side of the facility. But obviously the facility will have cameras so we will need the third person to do that and the forth person will help us escape by cutting a big enough hole for us all to fit through so we can actually get out. We need to station a spot for that forth person to cut a hole." Lilly starts and pulls out a map before continuing. "Here is where we can get in, this is where the control panel to the cameras are, this is where the forth person will need to cut the hole, and this is the cell block. Any questions?"

Thomas and I were shocked at how fast Lilly had come up with a plan. And Newt walked over equally as shocked.

"I'm guessing you heard my plan," Lilly exclaimed.

Newt nodded, his blond hair bouncing as he did so. He walked over to me and bent down, pulling the shirt piece I had used as a make-do bandage off my leg and using it to try and clean the partly dried blood.

"Ow, ok so let me get this straight, we take a group down and four people enter. The rest will stand guard. Person one, two and four will wait until person three has sent a message the security cameras are off, then four will run to the spot to start the hole, and one and two will run to the cell block to get the kids. Then they will take the kids down the stairs to where the hole is, person three will already be there, and we all escape!?" I said, hissing every now and again as Newt cleaned the wound and tied the bandage tightly around it.

Lilly nodded, "Exactly."

I smiled at her and looked at the map she had placed on the floor. Get in, get the kids, and get out. And we need a team. How hard could that be?
