Aurora POV
"Who are you thinking we should take?" I asked Lilly.

"Your choice, as long as I'm going," she said.

"Ok, ummm, You and I can get the kids, Newt is good with melting shit or whatever so he can make the escape hole," I started.

"Thanks love," he said winking and finishing wrapping up my wound.

"Shut up! And the third, the one taking out the cameras, should be Thomas or Gally. They are both good at deactivating things. The strike team, we should take Vince, Sonya, Harriet and whoever isn't going to disable the security cameras, Gally or Thomas." I finished, turning back to Lilly.

"I can do it, why do we need to consider Gally?!" Thomas shouted.

"Oh shush," Lilly exclaimed.

I glared at Thomas before yanking my leg away from Newt who was still finishing up.

"Hey I'm not done. You need to let me finish!" He insisted.

I stuck my tongue out at him and stood up, then I hobbled off to where Vince was stood.

"Why'd you try to kill our second best warrior?!" Vince yelled at the person in front of him.

"Second best?" I asked peeping to look at the boy that was cowering in front of him.

"I meant your our other best warrior, you and Lilly are both our best but I didn't know how else to put it. Anyway, this is the boy that put a bullet through your thigh," Vince told me.

I looked at the boy.

"What's your name?" I asked gently, walking over to him.

"Jake," he said.

"Nice to meet you Jake," I said gently.

I smiled and offered my hand for him to shake. He took my hand and shook it.

"I'm sorry about the gun incident, I-I didn't know you would be the first to handle the gun. I thought it would be someone else, sorry," he told me.

"It's ok, it's in the past and I'm not hurt!" I smiled wider.

He smiled too and I told him to get some sleep. He nodded. Then I got up and dragged Vince away.

"He shot you, Aurora!" Vince cried.

"Technically, he didn't shoot me, I shot my self by accident." I replied casually.

I dragged him over to Lilly and the others. Gally and Sonya were already there talking about the mission.

"Gally said Thomas should do the cameras for us," Lilly exclaimed.

I nodded and sat back down slowly, trying not to move the bandage on my thigh. Newt threw an old dusty pillow at my head.

"Sit on this," he said.

I caught the pillow and dust went everywhere, causing me to cough.

"Thanks." I said glaring at him.

He nodded and turned back to Lilly. I glared at him for a bit more before turning to look at her as well. Lilly was going over the plan to everyone else and what the strike team were going to do. As they talked about what would happen if things took a turn and didn't go as planned, I zoned out and look towards a door. I eyed everyone in the group to make sure they weren't paying attention and stood up. I then hobbled over to the door and opened it slowly. As I peaked out the door I saw the sun that was setting, I gasped at the sight and snuck out the building. I found a spot on the glass to sit and I sat down, watching the sand lose its golden glow and the sky turning pink as the sun disappeared for the night. I closed my eyes and breathed in the hot air surrounding us in the scorch.

"Hey," A male voice said surprising me.

I jumped a bit, my eyes snapping open and my head whipping towards the person who spoke only to find Newt standing there.

"Can I sit?" He asked.

I shrugged and turned back towards the lowering sun. He sat next to me and watched the sunset as well. I looked over at him, curious of why he'd come out, the sun hit his hair and face making them have a slight glow.

"Why did you come out here?" I asked.

"I wanted to see if you were ok, plus I saw some of this from when I was inside and wanted to watch it." He replied turning to look at me and gesturing towards the setting sun.

I nodded and turned my gaze back to the pink sky. It was a few more minutes till the sky was completely dark and the sun had gone.

"Come on Aura let's get back inside," Newt said standing up and putting out a hand for me to grab.

I looked at him, then his out stretched hand, then back at him. I whacked his hand away and stood up on my own.

"Stop calling me that!" I growled.

"You know that's never gonna happen," he said smirking.

I scoffed and pushed past him and hobbled to the door. He watched me walk back inside before limping back in himself.
