Aurora POV
It had been a week of nothingness. I was in bed and wasn't allowed to even go to the bathroom without help, which got extremely annoying. When Newt was looking after me though it was a whole different story. He'd help me stand and walk behind me in case I fell, he reckoned I should get used to walking without help seeing as I'm independent, which I completely agreed too.

"Morning love," Newt exclaimed walking into my room and placing a kiss on my forehead. "How you feeling?"

"Like going for a run," I mumbled.

"We'll have to wait till everyone is out of the compound before you go for a run, you know that," he said helping me sit up.

"I know I know. But I really want too! And Tony and Bruce are being unfair!" I whined.

"Stop the whining, just think the sooner you get better, the sooner you can do whatever you want!" Newt exclaimed smiling.

I hummed in response and twisted so my legs were hanging over the edge of the bed. I put an arm out like I'd usually do but Newt don't take it.

"Newtie?" I asked.

"Your gonna do it yourself today. No help," he responded standing back.

I smiled widely and pushed myself easily off the bed and limped to the bathroom. Before I walked in Newt grabbed my wrist.

"I'm going to get Banner, ok," he said pecking my lips.

"Ok," I replied watching him walk out before going back to wash my face.

After I washed my face I went back to the bed. I laid back down and waited for Newt to come back in with Banner and Stark. I rubbed my neck. It was still uncomfortably sore from where the collar had been and there was a pinkish line where it was.

"I swear sir! She was walking! She's completely fine!" I heard Newt yell.

"Sorry kid, but unless she walks through that door, I don't believe you," Tony called back.

I smirked and rolled out of bed to stand up. I limped over to the door and opened it before poking my head out.

"What's wrong Newtie?" I asked innocently.

Everyone just stared up at me from the couch, shocked that I was standing let alone walking around. I teleported downstairs and limped over to Newt who wrapped his arms round me.

"Still don't believe me?" He scoffed.

"I-uh-I, how?" Tony stuttered.

"Well whenever I went up to her I'd always-" Newt started.

"Blondie here, would always help me off my bed and let me walk on my own so I could get used to not needing anyone standing next to me at all times," I explained.

"Let me get this straight. Whenever Newt was supposed to be looking after you, he was actually pushing you to stand up and walk around by yourself." Lilly said.

"Yes," Newt and I confirmed.

Lilly nodded and walked off to, I assume, find Thomas.

"She's not happy Newtie," I told him watching her leave.

"I can tell," he replied walking me over to the couch.

Lilly POV
I was going to find Thomas. Aurora was like a little sister to him, he told me himself, if he knew that she had been walking the past few days when she wasn't meant to he wouldn't be happy.

"Thomas," I said as I came across him. "Rora is walking and has been for the past few days."

Thomas stood up and turned to me, fury etched upon his face.
