Aurora POV
My eyes widened as I saw this huge bulky guy stalk towards us. I knew going back up wasn't an option because of the new group of people pointing guns down at us. So, I swung to the side, taking Lilly with me. She landed first and I ordered her to get out the way, which she did. I stood up as the guy pulled out a gun and the hydra agents above the hole lowered themselves in behind me and pulled out their guns as well. Suddenly the door near the bulky guy opened allowing Newt, Thomas, the avengers and a damaged Tony to enter the room. Thomas ran straight over to Lilly and pulled her into a hug which she quickly returned. I, however, circled the man and his companions waiting for them to open fire on me.

"You gonna kill me?" I teased.

"No, we need you," the mans deep voice replied.

"Fine," I sighed. "I'll have to kill you myself."

"Yes sir," the man said into his ear. "We have orders to hurt you missy, hurt you real bad."

"Try me," I smirked getting into a fighting stance as my eyes glowed blue.

The agents started shooting and I easily blocked each bullet. I was going well until one shot me in the thigh and I collapsed to my knees.

"AURORA!" Newt yelled trying to run over to me but Nat held him back.

"Sorry pretty lady, we gotta take you in," a German smirked walking over.

I grabbed him and pulled him down to my level.

"Screw you," I mumbled before snapping his neck.

"Kill her," the German man from the TV said from the corner.

"My pleasure," bulky guy said putting a gun to my face. "Any last words, girl?"

"Devil," I smirked.

Then he fired the bullet.

Newt POV
This bulky man fired a bullet at my girlfriend right after she mentioned the devil side. I watched Aura smirk as the man pulled the trigger and her mouth quickly opened, catching the bullet between her teeth. Everyone, including the avengers, Thomas, Lilly and I, watched her with our mouths agape with shock as her eyes glowed their piercing blue. She spat out the bullet and looked up to face the men surrounding her.

"What? No welcome party for me? Pity, pity. Well, at least I'm going to enjoy killing you," Aurora's devil voice echoed throughout the room and the Hydra men with guns cowered.

"KILL HER!" The Russian shouted from the doorway, which he was standing in beside the German.

The men advanced towards her as she stood up. She pulled the bullet out of her thigh and dropped it like it was nothing. The men started shooting and she easily killed them all, one by one. Until it came to the two who we all presumed were the leaders, the two by the door. She stalked over to them, her wings, halo and devil horns revealing themselves. Her wings spread making them look huge and blue fire lit on her palms.

"You hurt my friend and her father, then tried to kill me. Do you know what I do to people who hurt people I love and try to kill me? I kill them," she grinned a devilish grin and grabbed the German, pulling him towards the hole and jumping backwards with him.

"AHHH!" The German screamed before we heard the snapping of bones and a splatter of blood before silence.

I sunk to the floor. My girlfriend couldn't be dead. She was in devil mode. She wouldn't kill herself. Then after a few minutes she flew out the hole and straight towards the Russian. He put up a fight, unlike his friend. He shot her, stabbed her, did everything he could! But it wasn't enough. She was stronger, faster and more powerful than him. She hit bullets every which way and some flew towards Lilly, hitting her in the leg and arms. I got up and ran over to her and helped Thomas pull her to a safe zone. That's when I heard something that made me stop.

"AAGH!" Aurora screamed.

The Russian had hit her in the shoulder and hip with two bullets, reopening the wounds WCKD gave her before giving her powers. The Russian smirked.

"Now where to run now is there girl?!" He snarled taking out a knife.

Aurora whimpered and I felt tempted to go over and help her, but I knew the devil could handle herself and I'd just get in the way. Thomas, however, had stopped to watch the interaction too. We watched as Aurora scurried backwards towards the hole, her eyes flickering blue and tears welling up in them. Her hand slipped over the edge and she knew there was nowhere to go. I watched in horror as the Russian swung the knife at my angel, but the devil wasn't done. The devil took control again and she used her right foot to kick the knife out the Russian's hands and kick him behind her and over the side. She flipped onto her stomach as the devil disappeared, watching the Russian tumble down the hole to his death. Then I felt the pain in my right side. I glanced down at my right hip to find the knife from before embedded in it.

"NEWT!" Lilly cried out from beside me.

I lost my grip of her and stumbled to the side. Aurora glanced back to look at me and everything seemed to go in slow motion. Aurora got up and rushed over to me as fast as she could, despite the bullet in her hip and shoulder. I felt myself fall and my vision got black dots and became blurry.

"Newtie?" Aurora grabbed me and I saw tears start streaming down her face as she rested my head on her lap.

I knew I wasn't going to die. The knife was in the wrong spot to kill me, and even if I did die, Aurora would most likely bring me back to life.

"It's ok," I croaked out.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry Blondie! I'm sorry!" Aurora rushed out, streaking my hair.

"It's not you fault," I whispered before black clouded my vision and I'd fallen asleep.
