Part of a plan

Aurora POV
Lilly and I sat in the Quinjet on our way to rescue the boys. Lilly was humming and I was meditating trying to pinpoint where the boys were in the basement, my magic drifting out my hands that were rested on my knees, and travelling around the jet. I gasped and my eyes shot open, glowing a vibrant blue like in the car before.

"Rora? You ok? Your eyes are extremely bright again," Lilly asked from next to me.

"I-it's the b-boys," I stuttered, tears forming in my eyes.

"What about them?" Nat asked walking over.

I didn't know how to explain what Loki was allowing Brandon and Jacob to do to them, so I placed my hands on the floor of the Quinjet and opened up one of my portals.  Through the portal was Newt and Thomas hung upside down while Brandon and Jacob beat the shit out of them with a metal bat. Thomas had a split lip and a black eye and was trying to cover his torso as much as possible, while Newt just hung there allowing Brandon to hit him. He looked weak, one his eyes were swollen and both were closed in pain, he had a split lip like Thomas and what looked to be a broken nose. The rope he was tied with was as loose as possible but tight enough to keep him hanging and Brandon repeatedly hit his torso with as much force as humanly possible.

"W-what are they doing! M-make them s-stop!" Lilly cried, staring into the portal at Thomas, tears falling down her own face.

I shut the portal, scared to see what would happen if we kept watching.

"We're coming up on the location now," Clint told us. "Just let me find-AURORA WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

I took that as my chance to jump out the Quinjet, I'd flown before, why couldn't I try now. My eyes and hair were glowing like they did in the limo and I was falling at full speed like a torpedo. I felt the devil side of me take over and stop me from falling, instead I flew to the ground and snuck over to the entrance, the blue wings that had formed just a moment before, vanished.

"You seriously have to wait," Nat's voice crackled through my ear comm.

"Natasha, our boyfriends are literally hanging from a rope that could break and send them both plummeting to their death in that hole! I refuse to wait!" I snapped quietly back.

"Just wait before you-"

"Sorry Nat I can't wait for you guys, I'm going in."

"Aurora, if you go in now you could get attacked and Newt could die."

"He won't die, neither will Tommy."

"Rora-"

I shut off my comms, cutting Lilly and Nat off from whatever they were going to say next and walked quietly to the front door. I looked down at my suit and clicked a few buttons on my wrist, only to receive JARVIS saying 'negative, your request is being refused'.

"Come on," I whispered to myself, hitting the wrist band, which Tony had allowed me to put JARVIS in, making it extremely helpful.

Finally it pinged, signalling that my request was submitted and turned my suit invisible. I smiled and did the same to myself before knocking on the front door. I waited for a while until I finally heard a click and Jacob opened the door, only to walk out to check if anyone was there, allowing me to slip in behind him and run through the halls as quickly and quietly as possible, my heels clicking on the floor as I did. I ended up running through what seemed to be endless tunnels until I came to a room. The door was slightly open, but to not risk being found, I teleported inside coming face to face with a huge amount of computer screens and no one sat at the chair. Realising that these were from security cameras around the building, I switched off my invisibility from my suit and turned visible again before starting my search.

"They'll come!" I heard Thomas yell from one of the screens.

I smirked at the fact I'd finally found where they were and turned my ear piece back on.

"Aurora?! Oh thank goodness! We thought something happened!" Lilly's voice crackled.

"Shhhhhh. I found where they are, I'll let you in through the front but you have to be quiet." I whispered, turning to leave.

"Ok, we are here now," Nat replied.

I teleported to the door and opened it quickly, allowing Nat and Lilly to enter before shutting the door again.

"Follow me," I whispered, running back through the halls and to a stair well.

I heard Lilly groan from behind me and without thinking, I grabbed both hers and Nat's hands and teleported to another door that just so happened to be outside where I hoped the boys were.

"Lilly?" I started.

"Already on it," she replied in a whisper, her eyes glowed white and a huge smile appeared on her face. "They're there."

I felt myself smile and peeled through the glass in on the door, seeing Newt and Thomas hanging upside down on the other side.

"Ok, Aurora I want you to teleport inside and get the boys seeing as you can fly and if one of them falls you have the best chance at catching them. Lilly, you and I are going to distract whoever comes out to get us." Nat explained, loading a gun.

"Why does that seem like only part of a plan," I mumbled, earning a glare from Nat.

"Are we going to kill Brandon and Jacob?" Lilly asked in a worried tone, watching Nat load the other gun she had.

We knew what they did to Thomas and Newt and what they would've done to them and possibly us if we were there, but she still worried for them.

"No, but I will shoot them if I have too," Natasha replied, putting a hand on the door handle. "Ready?"

We nodded. Nat pushed the door open slowly and snuck in with us right behind her. The boys didn't see us, thank goodness, and it was all going well till I tripped on something which sent us all toppling onto each other, creating a loud bang to echo through the basement.

"They're here!" We heard Loki yelled. "You stupid mortal boys let them in!"

We scrambled up off the floor and looked at each other, then at Brandon, Loki and Jacob, and then at Newt and Thomas who were now looking in our direction.

"Go," Nat said, pushing me away from her and Lilly. "We'll hold them off."

I nodded and ran over to Tommy, who looked at me with a smile and Newt, who tried smiling but ended up groaning.

"Please get us out of here," he mumbled.

"I will, Newtie, I will."
