Newt POV
After Aurora broke up with me, I decided to stop by her room. I stood outside and raised my hand to knock when I heard sobbing coming from inside. I opened the door slowly so I could just see into the room. There she was, Aurora, laying on her bed face down crying. Her body shook as she sobbed and all I wanted to do was go in and hug her, but I couldn't. She'd broken up with me and I'd probably make things worse.

"She ok?" Thomas asked quietly.

I shook my head, unable to say anything to him.

"I'm sorry Newt." Thomas stated. "I didn't mean for this to happen."

"I know," I replied. "I shouldn't have lashed out. I should've just doesn't more time with her. Instead I trained with Lilly 24/7."

Thomas nodded and I moved aside.

"Go comfort her," I demanded. "For me."

Thomas nodded again and slid into the room. I watched through the crack between the door and the doorframe as Aurora sat up, red and puffy eyes, and latched onto Thomas, crying into his shoulder. He rubbed her back and mumbled incoherent words to her. I frowned at the two, it pained me to see Aurora with someone else but if that's how it was going to be then that's how it was going to be. I walked off down the hallway towards my room when I heard sobbing this time coming from Lilly's room. I knocked on the door confidently and waited for her to let me in.

"Who is it?" She called.

"Newt," I called back.

"Come in," she said.

I entered to see her huddled in a corner of the room hugging a pillow. I limped over and grabbed her hands to pull her up off the floor.

"Look," I said as I heaved her off the ground. "You shouldn't have broken up with Tommy."

"I know! It was a stupid thing to do!" She exclaimed quite loudly.

"No need to shout." I joked.

She glared at me and I put my hands up in a mock surrender.

"I'm sorry, I just need Thomas," she muttered hugging me.

I hugged her back. She nuzzled her head into the crook of my neck, which I found odd seeing as she's never done that before, and I hoped that Aurora wouldn't walk in. Lilly pulled away from me and looked me dead in the eye.

"Do you still love Aurora?" She asked.

"Of course I do! What sort of a question is that?!" I exclaimed with a smile.

"Then I'm sorry, but I need this," she muttered, and that's when I heard the door creak open.

I went to turn my head but Lilly grabbed the side of my face and pushed her lips into mine. I had no idea how to react to her kissing me and I could feel whoever was at the door was just as shocked as I was. Lilly pulled away and turned her gaze to the door.

"Shit," Lilly mumbled as her eyes went wide.

I turned my head to look at the door way. Sure enough, there she was, well that were, Aurora and Thomas staring at us. Aurora looked absolutely heartbroken and Thomas looked beyond mad.

"Aura!" I yelled as she turned and ran out the room, tears spilling down her face again.

I went to run after her but Thomas flung his arm out, stopping me in my path.

"Oh you've done enough," he snarled looking between Lilly and I before walking off after her.

"Newt I'm sorry," Lilly mentioned.
