Chapter Five

So. I changed a little bit of chapter two and chapter four. Read it if you want to. Chapter isn't that important, just a little more emotion from Lia. Chapter four just changes a little as well.

Chapter Five

"It has been planned that you and Aaron, whom I believe you have already meet, to destroy Kratos. Kratos is an evil man who is after you." My father tells me, talking slowly for the information to sink into my brain. 

"I don't understand..."

He sighs and begins to speak again. "You have been in hiding for quite some time. You're mother and I have kept you in that small little town in upstate New York because we could not allow you to be taken away from us. We.... we are not your real parents. Your birth mother is Kratos' sister. That birthmark in your eye, that thick black line that leaks down from the center all the way to the edge of the pupil is the mark of Kratos' relatives. A few months after you were born, Kratos went on a rampage, killing many people, including his relatives. Before your mother's death, your mother hid you in New York, with us. I knew your mother very well. She, I, my wife, Kratos, and many others were all part of a secret society. We were trying to build a new future for the world. Kratos wanted the power all to himself. The people in the society did not agree with him, which started his rampage. Anyways, your birth mother gave us instructions of how to keep you safe. We kept you hidden; your adoptive mother and I were in hidden as well. Over the past year, Kratos has been gaining more and more information about our location. Aaron and his parents had joined the society after Kratos had left it. Kratos found out about them joining the society that was supposed to be no longer existent last week. He murdered their daughter. The Hales lived only ten minutes away from us. Kratos could easily trace them back to you. That was when we all decided to relocate. We decided to move to a place that Kratos would not suspect us to move to, the place where the society started. Mr. Hale, Joseph Hale, has been keeping an eye out for you ever since his daughter was murdered. When he saw you go into that forest, he decided that it was perfect timing to take you away to London. Kratos wants to kill all of us; you, your mother for the past 15 years, the Hale family, and I. The death of the Hale daughter was just a warning. Once Kratos finds out that you are no longer in New York, he will be coming. Now, you are his last family member. He will not stop until he finds you. You and Aaron must stop him. Training will start in soon, but for now we will have a meeting to clarify what will be happening. Downstairs, second room to the left." And with that, my father walks out of the room. Why does nobody ever tell me goodbye?
