Chapter Eleven

"Now what?" Aaron asks. I can see that his father a death has really hurt him.

"Should we leave Paris?" I ask inquire.

"No. that is exactly just what Kratos wants us to do. He wants to track us. Leaving this country may make it easier for him to do so. We should stay here for a few more days, leave when we know Kratos really knows where we are."

I nod in agreement.

"Well I'm tired." Aaron says, getting up from the couch, going toward one of the beds. I can tell that he just wants to be alone. I feel bad for him. He just lost his sister, an now he has lost his father.

"Wait!" I say to Aaron. He turns around. What am I supposed to say?

"I am sorry... About your father."

I say quietly. Aaron looks at me with hurt in his eyes. He gives a weak smile, turns around, and continues heading toward his bed.

Overwhelmed, upset, tired, and depressed from this awful long day, I decide to go to sleep. Maybe tomorrow, I could do something fun to forget about all this. Or, maybe I'll wake up tomorrow and realize that it was just a bad dream. Maybe. Just maybe.
