Chapter 43
Kratos looks out the balcony of the hotel room while Lucifer sits on the couch, afraid of what Kratos has to say. Lucifer is facing Kratos’ back. He cannot see Kratos’ facial expression, therefore not being about to tell what Kratos is thinking or feeling.
“Sir?” Lucifer says hesitantly.
“They are too brave, too sure of themselves. I don’t want to kill them yet, not until later on. I’m still deciding what I should make them do before I kill them. I like to see people scared. Right now, they aren’t scared enough. Or at least not enough for my amusement. I need to break their souls down before I make them surfer from a slow and painful death.” Kratos answers.
“What do I need to do to help?” Lucifer questions.
“I need you to find them. Find them and make them so scared that they will beg me to kill them.”
