Chapter Sixteen

Lia's Point Of View

"Aaron!" I yell and it echoes all over the hotel top floor. I run around the whole house. I stand in the kitchen and am about to yell his name when I hear someone behind me. I spin around and am about to attack the person until I realize it’s just Aaron. 

"What?" He asks me. 

"I'm hungry." I state. 

"You sure eat a lot." He says, smirking. I cross my arms and give him an annoyed look. 

"The last time I ate was during breakfast. Now let’s go get some food." 

Aaron sighs and goes to his bag to grab some money. Money isn't really a problem for us now. 

"Ready?" Aaron asks me

"Yup."

Being lazy, we only go downstairs to one of the hotels restaurants. We eat a lot. Well at least I do. Aaron seems to busy observing his surroundings. 

"Relax. Nobody is going to attack you here." I say while deciding which dessert I want. 

"How do you know? Kratos killed my sister. Then he killed my father. What makes you think he won't kill me, too?" He questions me, slightly angry. 

"If anything, he'd come to kill me. He killed my birth parents when I was a baby. He took whatever life I had before." I whisper as I see the waiter approaching our table. 

"Check please." I say to the waiter. He nods and walks back to get it. He brings it back to our table. I pay the amount needed and leave a tip for the waiter. Aaron and I both walk out of the restaurant and into the elevator. 

"I guess we both lost a lot because of Kratos. I'm sorry, Lia." Aaron says softly. 

"I guess we have." I sigh. 

Aaron unlocks the door and we both go inside. 

I go to my bed. I'm about to sit on it, but then I see it.

"Aaron!"
