Chapter Twenty-Eight

The taxi driver dropped us right in front of terminal A at the airport. Aaron and I walk side by side into the plane check in. I reach over my shoulder for my bag and my eyes go wide. Not wanting to attract any attention, I keep walking. How could I possibly forget my bag? Not having clothes or money isn’t even the issue. The real issue was that I don’t have our passports. Without our passports, we can’t travel. I lean over to Aaron and whisper into his ear.

“I don’t have the passports. Now what?”

Aaron looks at me and has a worried expression.

“We can’t go back to the apartment without the risk of being found Kratos’ followers. Plus, the apartment is god knows how far away. Also, If we leave this airport now, it will look suspicious.” He replies.

“So, what are we going to do?” I question.

“We are going to sneak onto the plane.” Aaron whispers very softly.

If someone told me two weeks ago that I was going to sneak onto a plane, I would have laughed. But now, this is serious.

I am going to sneak onto a plane.

Well, it can’t be that hard.
