So I have been really busy with school work so I haven't had much time to update. Sorry! Here ya go, the next chapter!:

Chapter Twenty Three

"How?" I question Aaron. I know that he his right, we have to get out of here, but how do we do that without being caught by this man?

"Just follow what I do, okay?" He whispers back.

I nod my head in understanding and wait for his next move. Right now, Aaron and I are in the back right corner of the small shop, while the darkly dressed man is in the front of the room. I suddenly begin to hear footsteps walk slowly on the wooden floor.

"I know you two are in here. Just come out, Lia. Sir Kratos is waiting for you." A harsh voice belonging to the strange man speaks.

I hear more footsteps.

"I suggest you come now. Sir Kratos doesn't like to be kept waiting. He patiently waits and kills loved ones in the meantime. I don't think that you want that, Lia."

The sound of the footsteps come closer.

And that's when Aaron makes his move.

Just when the man is going to locate our hiding spot behind an old wardrobe,Aaron starts running toward the door. Like he told me to do, I follow his lead. We fun to the door and push it open. The man is running behind us. I look at Aaron in the eyes frantically.

Please tell me he knowns what he is doing.

Aaron runs into the middle of the street. He waves his hands to the car coming. The car stops and Aaron approachs the door. He opens it, quickly pushes the driver out, and jumps in. He signals me to enter the car. I immediately enter inside. I look out to the side mirror. The man, seeing that we are entering a car, runs towards his car and turns on the engine. Scared, I turn back to face Aaron.

"Wear your seatbelt because this is going to be a bumpy ride."

Before I can put the seat belt securely on, Aaron steps and the pedal and the car zooms into the dark streets of Germany.
