surprising her on tour

You stood backstage with the brightest smile on your face.

It's been so long since you've been able to witness moments like these. Moments where you get to see Dahyun and the girls shine like the stars they are. They leave you in awe every time you see them, although your eyes tend to stay on one shining star in particular.

You only pulled your phone out twice, simply to capture a few videos and photos of your girl that you will always cherish.

You stared out at the sea of lights, feeling a flutter every time you caught a glimpse of Dahyun's smile when she became mesmerized by the fans in the crowd.

The show was close to finished as the girls went onto the final song of the night. You made your way into their dressing room, knowing Dahyun would be heading back there first.

Since your flight got in a little late, her calls and texts had been dodged by your phone and you know she's gonna be anxiously waiting to see if you responded.

You could hear the screams of the fans even back there and, soon enough, you heard the last word of the last song be sung.

The girls gave a little speech before taking a bow and then heading backstage, where they all seemed to shriek excitedly over yet another wonderful and successful show.

On cloud nine, they chatted excitedly as they rushed to the dressing room.

Nayeon was the first to walk through the door. Her eyes immediately locked with yours. You watched them light up and saw her smile brightly. She turned around and yelled for Dahyun, who wasn't all that far behind.

"Dahyun? Dahyun! Hurry up!"

You heard hurried footsteps across the floors until she, along with seven other curious girls, appeared in the doorway. At first, she was looking at Nayeon in confusion.

Before, she could practically sense the urgency in her voice, but now her friend was gazing at her with the brightest eyes and a big bunny smile.

"What?" Dahyun asked and turned to look around the room, where she saw you. Her eyes widened, a gasp fell from her lips before she ran to you and pulled you into her arms.

"I can't believe you're here!" She spoke against your neck, where she instinctively buried her face and breathed in your sweet scent that she's been missing for months.

You swapped hoodies before she and the girls left. You gave her yours and took hers and made sure the smell of your perfume lingered on the fabric so she could hold it close when she missed you.

The smell faded almost completely but now, she gets to breathe it in all over again as she moved to bury her face in your shirt.

"I've missed you so much," she spoke and blinked away the tears swimming in her beautiful eyes as she moved to drop her forehead against yours.

You thought she was gonna lean in for a much overdue kiss, but she took you by surprise by instead lifting you up and spinning you around as she hugged you tight.

"Missed you too," you laughed as she spun you around and hummed against your neck, causing your skin to tickle and your heart to flutter.

She quickly put you down on your feet and her eyes locked with yours as she tucked a lock of hair behind your ear.

"How long have you been here? Why didn't you tell me you were coming today?"

"I wanted to surprise you... surprise, Dahyun!"

She giggled and kissed your chin.

"And I got here a little bit ago. Got to see you perform, shine like the absolute star that you are, my love. You did amazing, as you always do."

She hugged you tight and rubbed her hand along the small of your back.

"And I get to see two more weeks' worth of shows, so that's gonna be fun."

Her eyes lit up as she heard those words fall from your lips.

"Two weeks? I've got you here with me for two weeks?!" She asked, her eyes full of stars as she gazed into yours.

"Yeah," you said and closed your eyes as she leaned in for a kiss, only for your lips to just barely brush as the girls cooing behind you caused you both to pull away.

"How cute," Tzuyu said and Dahyun quickly let you go to quickly shove them out of the dressing room to allow you both some privacy before she came back to you and pulled you in for a sweet kiss.

You couldn't help the flutter in your heart as her lips crashed onto yours and began to move in perfect sync together. It's been so long. You've dreamt of moments like these with her again and now that you're living them, it all feels so surreal.

"I promise to make these next couple of weeks absolutely amazing. I have one day off in between. I'm so excited to spend that with you! We'll go sightseeing and go out for some food. Anything your heart desires, we can do."

"Just wanna be with you," You said and stole a peck from her lips before dropping your cheek onto her shoulder, where you closed your eyes and basked in the comfort you always feel from her smell and her touch.

"I've got you, baby. I won't be letting go. I promise."
