seeing her bump for the first time (requested)

"Are you hungry?" You asked Dahyun as you finished brushing your teeth. "I could make us some breakfast."

"That might not be bad. I think my morning sickness has gone away for the most part. I think breakfast sounds great." Dahyun said as she watched you from the bed.

She's seventeen weeks along now and she's finally starting to enjoy being pregnant a little since her morning sickness is just barely lingering.

For so long, it was hard to be excited about being pregnant because she was so sick, to the point where she had to take some time away from the group and all of her schedules.

After all, she had felt so unwell and she couldn't perform like that.

But now, she's hoping to resume her schedules, at least for a little while, and bask in the joy of you two finally starting a family together.

"Or, if you'd like, we could go out for breakfast and do some baby shopping. Just small things. Shoes, maybe some gender-neutral clothes since we don't know what we're having yet, and some socks. Just small stuff for now."

Dahyun's eyes sparkled over your suggestion and she excitedly nodded her head.

"I'd love that!"

"Well, then, let's get ready." You smiled and watched Dahyun jump out of bed.

She went over to the closet to grab a change of clothes; a pair of cozy shorts and a comfortable shirt.

Taking off the shirt she wore to bed, she tossed it into the laundry basket and looked down to grab the shirt that she planned to wear today.

She had dropped it on the floor so when she looked down, she expected to see her sock-covered feet.

But instead, something caught her eye.

She went across the room and stood in front of the mirror for a second before a gasp left her lips.

"Y/N! Baby, come look at this!"

You had been brushing your hair but at the sound of Dahyun yelling out for you, you practically dropped the hairbrush on the floor and hurried out of the bathroom and into the bedroom.

"What's wrong?" You asked as you reached her side.

"Nothing." She said with the brightest smile on her face. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry you. But look at my stomach!"

You looked down at her stomach as she told you to and that's when you saw what she'd seen - a tiny bump.

It probably wouldn't be noticeable to many people.

Such as fans or photographers who would inevitably take photos of her today when you go out and spread them around social media.

It was small enough that her shirt would cover it.

But... it was there.

That much was undeniable.

"Dahyun, baby, you have a bump!" You grinned.

"I know!" She excitedly said. "I couldn't believe it when I saw it. It's so small but it's there!"

"Wow..." You spoke in awe before gently placing your hand over her bump. "I can't believe it. It's real. Our baby is there!"

She nodded before wrapping her arms around you.

You shared a sweet kiss before you put your hand back on her little bump and just a second later, Dahyun gently placed hers right over yours.

"Our baby..." She whispered. "I love the sound of that so much. I just can't get over it."

"Me neither. I love you lots."

"I love you too." She said before looking down, watching as you gently brushed your hand across her bump.

"Hello in there! Your moms love you so much." You whispered. "Keep growing in there, safe and sound. We can't wait to meet you. I just know already that you're going to be so precious. You've already stolen our hearts."

Dahyun listened to you speak to the baby with a smile on her face.

This is all the two of you have ever wanted and she couldn't wait to see how much bigger her bump gets and to see all of the other amazing things that were ahead.
