she misses you while in the studio (requested)

Your eyes traveled quickly along the words on the pages. You find yourself hooked on every line, anticipating the next even more than the last.

You just got this new book a few days ago, but haven't gotten around to reading it until today. Dahyun had a few days off and you didn't want to waste the time you could be spending with her on anything else but her.

But today, she's returned to the studio and although you miss her already, you're enjoying your book quite a lot. You're enthralled with it and you were certain that nothing could make you look away for hours to come until you'd finish it.

However, the ringtone you have set for Dahyun quickly chimed on your phone. She was calling you, which is unusual.

Usually, she's so swamped when she works that she only finds the time to send you a text on occasion. So you were curious and put your book down right away to pick up your phone.

You weren't sure what it was she was calling for, but the last thing you expected to hear when you answered was her sniffling.

"Dahyun? Baby, are you okay?"

"Yeah." She answered. "I just feel like the day is never gonna end. There's so much to do and I'm feeling overwhelmed and I miss you."

"Oh, Dahyun. I miss you too. The house is so quiet now that you're not here. I know you work a lot but I guess I got used to your company the last few days. Miss you so much."

"I know I miss you more, though." She said with a tearful chuckle.

"It's only a few more hours until you'll be done and can come home, though."

"Feels like forever when I'm so stressed out." She sniffled while you played with your fingers, trying to take your mind off of your aching heart every time she'd sniffle.

You know she's a tough cookie. She's strong and she can handle a lot. But, of course, everyone gets overwhelmed at times.

While most people might not understand why, it's easy for her tears to fall sometimes when there's so much to do, especially during comebacks.

You feel for her. Truthfully, if you could, you'd carry all the weight on her shoulders for her. You're always happy to let her cry on your shoulder, always there to hold her as she does.

But there are times, like now, that you can't be there to wipe her tears and just hope that one of the girls do.

"Can you come?" She asked out of the blue, catching you off guard. You looked at the time and saw it was still early afternoon. She still has hours to go in the studio.

"Happily, my love." You said and she let out a sigh of relief. "I'll head out the door now. I love you. I'll be there soon, okay?"

"Okay." She mumbled and ended the call so you could get on the road and drive safely.

You quickly slid on your shoes and grabbed your keys, wallet, and your phone before heading out the door and driving off to the studio.

Just a few minutes later, you walked through the doors and headed down to the studio the girls always record in.

You went to knock on the door, but only the touch of your fist against it for a split second was enough to get Dahyun's attention, who greeted you at the door with tired eyes.

You pulled her into your arms for a tight hug. Her arms wrapped around you as you rubbed your hand along her back and kissed her shoulder as you swayed her a little during the hug.

You pulled away and reached up to brush a lock of hair behind her ear.

"You okay?" You asked and watched her crack a small smile.

"I am now that you're here."

You hugged her again before pulling away. She led you inside and you closed the door quietly. Mina was currently in the booth, recording her parts for the new song.

You took a seat on Dahyun's lap, arms wrapped around her as you buried your face in her neck.

"Sorry if I worried you or bothered you by coming down here."

"You're never a bother, Dahyun. Don't ever worry about that. You're my girl, you know I'd do anything for you. Now, just relax and let your mind calm down. You've got me here for as long as you need me."

"I always need you." She whispered softly as she buried her lips in your hair and closed her eyes as she hugged you tight. "You make me happy. Don't know what I'd ever do without you. Thank you for coming. You're truly amazing."

You lifted your head and she took the opportunity to drop her forehead against yours instantly. You leaned in to kiss her chin, only for her to tilt her head up so your lips would hit hers instead.

You smiled into the kiss as she kept you close to her and moved her lips against yours lovingly.

"I love you."

"Love you more." She said as you put your head on her shoulder and closed your eyes, finding comfort and warmth in her arms as she let her mind relax.

Both of you were so caught up in each other that you didn't even notice the girls cooing over you, thinking it was the sweetest thing how in love you were and adoring how you're always there for each other.
