Raymond Elliot
"You don't look good." Luke comments as I slide into my seat for science.
"That's one way to put it."
"What's wrong this time? Still something to do with Summer?"
"You tell me." I grumble, and run a hand through my hair.
"I say maybe you should make her jealous. I bet she's still into you."
"What? She doesn't even like me."
"How do you know? For all you know, she could just not be dating you because maybe she thinks you're dating that Sophie girl, or maybe she thinks that you'll cheat on her again." Luke says.
"Stop trying to be so smart." I hiss, and he chuckles.
"Just talk to her, man."
"Quit playing matchmaker, Luke. I tried talking to her. It never works." I mutter and he laughs again.
"I'm not. Didn't you say you wanted to go out with her again though?"
"Well, yeah..... But still. Quit it."
"Okay okay." He puts his hands up in surrender.

I walk through the streets of town, looking for the shop my sister works in. She wanted me to bring her phone to her because she forgot it, and left it at home. How can you forget to take your phone? I'm just so nice and I agreed to take her her phone. I stop in front of a shop, frowning at it, seeing if this is the right shop when I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around to see none other than Sophie Reels.
"Hey!" She says, giving me a smile. I haven't seen Sophie in a while.... The last time I saw Sophie was when she kissed me.
"Um, hi." I say.
"What brings you in front of a..." She looks at the shop in front of me. "A girl's boutique?"
"Oh, my sister just works in one of those so...."
"Oh cool!" She says enthusiastically. "Want to hang out a bit? I'll help you find your sister."
"Uh, sure." I say. I really needed help in finding this shop.
"So, what is the shop called?" She asks and I show her the screen of my phone, where my sister sent me the shop's name. "Oh! It's just over there." Sophie says, and starts walking. "So um, how's everything?" She asks.
"Uh, good, I guess. What about you?"
"Just the usual, nothing special." Sophie shrugs.
"Look-" I say at the same time as Sophie talks.
"Do you-" We both look at at each other, and I gesture for her to go first.
"You go." I say.
"Oh.... Okay. Do you... I mean.... do you still like Summer even though she's dating Sean Carter?"
"Um, why?"
"Because-" She looks up at a shop. "Wait, we're here."
"Oh." I look towards the shop too. "I'll be right out." I say, and walk in. I head straight over to the counter to see Jess. "Hey."
"Oh hi! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She says as I hand her her phone.
"Don't mention it." I shrug off. "Um look, I've got to go... So..."
"Oh okay. See ya."
"Bye." I say and walk back out again.
"That was quick." Sophie comments. I shrug.
