Summer Danvers
"Thanks again, Summer, I know you've been busy, but thank you." Mom says as Lexi and I hop out of the car in front of the mall. Today I agreed to help Lexi pick out a dress for the prom at her school, because all her friends already have dresses and she said that she lied to them about already having a dress when she totally forgot that she needed to.
"It's alright." I say. "We'll catch a bus home afterwards." Mom nods.
"Lexi, be nice to your sister." Mom says.
"Yeah, I will. See you later." Lexi says, nodding.
"Bye girls." Mom says and drives away.
"So. Where to first?" I ask, and Lexi points to a shop.
"There." She says and we start walking. "By the way, how's everything going on set?"
"Oh, um, good. Why do you ask?"
"Well, because I want to know how you and Sean are going." She says, as we head into the shop.
"What? Why?"
"Because." She looks through a rack of dresses.
"Because.....?"
"Well.... Just because." She shrugs.
"But why? Why do you want to know so much about me and Sean?" I say as I look through a rack of clothing myself. I mean, I might as well go shopping while I'm here.
"Oh.... Because I want you two to be together." She says.
"This again? Why? You were the one who had a crush on him, remember?"
"I know, but I don't have a chance with him and you get to see him almost everyday. It's like you guys practically are dating." She pulls a dress out of the rack, holding it up, taking a look at it.
"It's nothing like that, Lexi. We're not even alone anyway. Besides, the relationship between us isn't even like that." I say and Lexi looks up at me, then looks back at the dress in her hand, putting it back onto the rack.
"Well you would probably start feeling something towards him, right? I mean, you've been filming for weeks now, and you talk to him everyday. So..... Yeah." She pauses, looking around the shop. "Maybe we should go to another shop." She adds, and we head out, and into another shop.
"But it's nothing like that! I told you, we hardly get to talk because we're filming, and we're just friends. Maybe not even friends but.... Acquaintances."
"Yeah.... Sure...."
"Lexi, I've already got a boyfriend okay? So just.... Drop it." I sigh.

After weeks of filming, I've found that it's pretty fun but tiring. But I still like it, and I've gotten to know the rest of the cast, like Kaitlyn, and Sean, and I've also gotten to know some of the crew members as well. Me and Sean aren't so close that we hang out or anything, but we still talk a lot when we take breaks while filming. And I've gotten to know a lot about his life that people don't find out on tv.
"Okay, I think we should take five." Adam says, and I head over to where Layla normally stands when she watches is filming. I grab my water bottle and take a drink, and then I get out my phone, and go through some social media to busy myself.
"What you doing?" I spin around to see Sean, who's glancing over my shoulder. I press the home button on my phone and turn to face him.
"Oh.... Just..... On Instagram." I say.
"I never get to just.... Go on Instagram." He puts his hands into his jean pockets, and looks at me.
"Too many fans?"
"Yeah."
"Isn't that sort of a good thing? I mean, for your career?" I ask.
"Well, yeah..... I guess... But I don't get to post.... You know... Personal stuff?"
"Oh....." I trail off, not knowing what to say. A blanket of silence drapes over us, and stays there for a few moments.
"Thanks." Sean say quietly.
"What for?" I ask.
"Oh.... Just... You know... Not being awkward around me."
"For not being awkward.... Around you?"
"Not necessarily awkward, but, just... I don't know... Normally when I film with girls my age they always talk to me like I'm a celebrity, and treat me like one." He pauses, looking at the floor. "But you.... You're different. You treat me like I'm just a normal guy, a guy you've known for a long time and not a guy you've known for just a few weeks and is a celebrity." He pauses again, looking me in the eyes now. "So thank you."
"I- You don't need to thank me, Sean. I just.... I just thought it would be better this way, you know... So it wouldn't get awkward." I say, and suddenly, a strand of hair falls on my face and I reach up to put it behind my ear when Sean's hand gets there first and he gently tucks in behind my ear. I look at him, and he just looks away. We stay in that position for what seems like an eternity, an awkward tension between us until Sean clears his throat.
"We better get back." He mumbles and heads over to where Adam's standing.
