Summer Danvers
"And... We talked, and things are okay with us, I think..." Brittany continues, smiling.
"Well that's good then. Everything's normal again." Trinity says.
"Are you okay?" Phoebe asks me cautiously. She's been eyeing me this whole time, and it looks like she wants to know what's up.
"Uh, yeah." I say.
"No, you're not. You're not eating anything," Phoebe says, and I look down at my tray which nothing has been eaten from. "And you're not talking much at all, and you keep looking at someone." She looks towards the way I was looking a minute before. "Who is it?"
"What? No." I say, and try to put a smile on my face. Now, all my friends were looking at me.
"I don't believe you. Seriously, what's wrong?"
"Fine." I sigh of defeat. "We broke up. Me and Ray I mean."
"What? Why?" Phoebe's mouth was hanging open.
"You just got together!" Trinity adds.
"What did he do?" Brittany lowers her voice.
"Okay, I can't answer all your questions at once." I say and get into the story.

"And he keeps saying that it was her who kissed him, but I don't know." I say, my eyes ringing with tears again just at the mere thought of what had happened.
"Summer, forget about him, there are so many other guys out there that would be head over heels over you." Trinity assured me. I give her a small smile.
"But I just really liked him." I say quietly, wiping my eyes slowly. For some reason, my thoughts wonder back to Sean. I have no idea why though.
"Anyway, if he wants to go out with this Sophie over you, he's dead wrong." Phoebe says.
"Thanks guys." I say just as the bell goes to signal the end of lunch. The rest of the day passes in a blur, and when the bell finally rings for to notice the end of school, I head straight outside, and start to walk into town, to catch the bus onto set.
"Summer!" I hear a voice behind me. I turn around, but see no one that I know, so I put my ear plugs in and listen to music. Until I feel a hand on my shoulder and I spin around in surprise. "Hey." The same voice says to me.
"Hey, Hugh." I say, taking one earplug out. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh, just.... I'm taking the bus home, my parents are busy so yeah..... What about you?" He asks.
"I'm taking the bus onto where I film." I say, turning the music off.
"So.... I haven't talked to you in ages." He says and I laugh.
"Missed me?" I joke.
"Ha ha. Very funny." He says, and looks at me. "Are you... Are you okay?" He asks.
"What? Why do you say that?" I ask.
"Oh, it's just that I saw you tear up in the cafeteria at school." He says. "My cousin being mean to you?"
"No, Brittany's fine." I say.
"Then what's up?" He asks as we cross a road.
"Um....." Should I tell him? I don't know. Should I? I look at him, wondering if I really should tell him, but thankfully, someone else catches our attention.
"Hey, Hugh!" A guy I'm pretty sure I've seen around in school waves to Hugh. He comes over to us, and looks at me. "Is this your girlfriend?"
"Uh, no." Hugh says, and I can feel my cheeks heating up.
"Are you single?" The same guy asks me.
"Um, yeah." I say and Hugh looks over to me in surprise. He probably thought that Ray and I were still dating.
"Fancy a date with me?" He asks, wiggling his eyebrows mischievously.
"Leave her alone, man." Hugh says before I can answer.
"Ooh, all protective over her, huh?" The guy says, and Hugh gives him a good smack on the arm which makes me smile.
"Anyway, see you around, Summer." Hugh says.
"Oh, see you." I say as he walks away, as the guy makes a phone shape with his hand, mouthing, 'call me' and I can't help but laugh.
