it was the next day at school and bella was already hating it. too early for this drama, all she wanted was peace and quiet.

while the teacher was out, talking with some other teacher in the halls, the class started sprinting out of their chairs- walking towards their best friends. while others started playing hand games with each other in the center of the room where the rug was at.

meanwhile, bella was by herself. she didn't mind it though but felt disappointed that her friends somehow left her out.

someone suddenly threw a tiny paper ball at her desk. it managed to land right in the middle, disturbing bella's thoughts.

out of curiosity, she looked around, she couldn't tell who threw it but she started unfolding it.

bella gulped in her dry throat as she read the word, 'ugly' written in unfamiliar handwriting. they made it unfamiliar on purpose.

bella simply tried to ignore it as she crumbled the paper. she stood up from her seat and walked towards the trash can, throwing the paper out harshly from anger that was building inside of her.

bella's expression stayed neutral. she went back to her desk, pulling out a chair for her to sit on.

a classmate of hers decided to pull a little prank on bella and pulled the chair out behind her, making her fall into the cold ground.

they've laughed. instead of helping or being concerned... they laughed.

bella looked down with her cheeks sticking out, looking embarrassed as the pink color was making it visible.

"lighten up it's just a prank!" the person who pulled the chair out exclaimed, trying to catch their breath from laughing at their little 'prank' of theirs.

it was currently 12am midnight, as always, bella sat near her window as she leaned her back to the wall.

that fall really hurt her butt, making it painful whenever she sat down.

she stared at the stars. 'so pretty and sparkly!!' she muttered under her breath at them twinkling.

she glanced at the empty sidewalk, deciding whether or not it's a good idea to sneak out again.

again she was hesitant. her parents never found out or grew suspicion but she was worried at what's gonna happen. well her first thought was, 'is jake gonna be there again?'

thanks to last night, bella and jake somehow managed to get a bit closer than the days they've met combined.

when they met because of family invites, they would just exchange glances and smiles but never talked face-to-face until last night occurred.

bella grew curiosity of jake, wanting to know his more and who knows, befriend him.

she sighed, positioning herself at the window, ready to jump.

she noticed the little burn on her ankle that was starting to get a bit more purple.

she pulled up her sock to cover the burn and jumped out. the sounds of the grass crunching by her tiny feet worried bella for a second, instantly glancing at her parents' room which was completely dark and silent.

"ooh~" bella soothe, slapping her beating heart multiple times to lower its pace after exhaling loudly from that nervous heartbeat.

she nibbled on her bottom lip, standing still. although she already jumped, she somehow managed to hesitates. 'sneaking out multiple times won't be bad right...?' bella thought as she gulped, her eyes wandering towards the one and only playground.

bella sighed and started running quietly towards the playground. she somehow shivered while sweating because of your cold body not keeping with the sudden warmth of your sweat.

although, she thought realistically that jake may not come back, looking at the stars will give her comfort at least.

"oh you're back?" bella found jake in an empty swing set, calling her name.

bella widened her eyes when jake called her instantly. she looked back at jake with a combination of wonder and daze, not expecting you to come back.

she managed to stare at jake's doey innocent-like eyes before replying, "did i surprise you?" bella pursed her lips, sounding like jake didn't want her here.

"didn't you tell me that you were scared?" jake asked while raising an eyebrow. bella first laid at the sand next to the swings.

the twinkling eyes first catching her attention.

"of what?" she asked. jake tilted his head in confusion, you've probably forgotten. "getting caught." jake replied with a bit of emphasis at the end of the sentence, trying to make you remember you said those words to him.

bella still stared at the night sky. "what about you?" she didn't respond to jake's concern.

"what do you mean?" he asked, slowly swaying himself back and forth in the slide.

"don't you get caught often?" bella wondered since jake sneaks out often by the looks of it. jake shook his head. "no thankfully."

jake hopped out of the swing, catching bella to instinctively look at jake with confusion. 'is he leaving me?' she questioned as jake was patting his small red and black pattern of pajama pants.

bella sighed in relief when jake sat next to her, hugging his tiny legs compressed.

"you thought i was gonna leave you?" jake questioned when he saw your little smile while closing your eyes at the night sky. "i'm not leaving a girl alone at this time." his tone was sincere and a bit rough since bella was assuming his sudden disappearance.

bella huffed her cheeks as she moved her head around, looking at her surroundings.

gasped, "ah!!!" bella exclaimed, jumping little jake when she instantly moved up form her position, a wide smile forming in bella's face.

"you scared me!" jake instantly reacted to her sudden jump. he held his heart tight as he closed his eyes, trying to regulate his normal heart heart.

"forget-me-nots!" bella exclaimed once again before skipping to the small flower around the corner.
