it has been three days since the two teenagers stopped contact one another. jake patiently waiting, unlocking his phone every hour to see if bella unblocked his number- but no hope was visible.

"bella.." jake mumbled under his breathe while wearing his shoes before walking at bella's house.

he exhaled while standing in front of bella's door, nerve wrecking to see bella's parents. preparing him to see her parents be upset with him or not.

he knocked on the door, and now was waiting for an answer.

the knob unlocked, seeing bella's mom with a confused yet happy face. "oh jake! what brings you here?" she asked.

jake was somehow relieved that she didn't detect any negative signs from bella's parents.

"good evening, is bella by any chance here?" jake replied with anticipation eyes, his fist clasped together.

"bella? she just went outside her convenience store." bella's mom replied which made jake nod.

"thank you." he bowed in front of her.

"bella had seem a bit off these past days.. can you cheer her up in any where, i know you can make her happy."

jake's smile started appearing in his face after bella's mom stating that, feeling fluttered by the sudden praise.

"i will." jake once again bowed before running off towards the convenience store, rushed so he can see bella.

bella payed for her now-to-be-dinner items, walking out of the convenience store with her home supplies and her large hoodie.

bella has been crying for the past two days, her eyes were puffy and a bit swollen.

jake was panting for air, his eyes moving to find bella.

he spotted his eagle eyes a pink hoodie and the familiar hole slippers.

"bella!" jake skipped towards bella, who was taken aback by the sudden voice that called him.

jake instantly hugged bella into his arms, closing his eyes to feel bella's cold body.

he was confused as to why bella didn't hug him back but he didn't mind, his mind was focused on hugging bella.

"can we talk?" jake asked, looking at bella who kept a blank expression.

bella sighed, slightly nodding. jake sweetly smiled in relieved- he felt like he was getting suffocated for not seeing bella in two days.

two of them silently sat in a bench that was in front of a nearby park.

the nerve wrecking tension filled.

"i'm-"

two of them awkwardly glanced each other after they both broke the ice at the same time.

jake snickered as bella lightly scoffed, it unlocked a memory from their past together.

"i'm sorry." bella followed, smiling bitterly at the ground. jake eyed her weirdly. "for what?"

"i didn't even give you a chance to explain because i blocked you.." bella snickered, realizing her mistake.

"but at the same time i wanted to give you space."

bella.. you're so selfless.. jake thought, reminded of her letter that night.

"don't apologize, i should be the one who's sorry." jake replied, staring at bella who looked at him- feeling a bit surprised.

"i didn't consider your feelings, and me being the dumb person here, left you alone crying." jake chuckled in bitterness.

bella sighed, "that's why i worried about us the most, conflict.. i was unsure of my feelings towards you, i felt insecure and unorganized.."

jake scooted a bit closer to bella. "but it can make our bond stronger." jake smiled at bella.

bella realized that he scooted closer when she looked at him before jake was looking at the sunset in front of them.

"i would never hurt you bella, i still care about you. not able to see you for two days, felt like hell. i realized how much you mean to me and i don't wanna lose you again..."

bella's eyes started to become teary again, sniffling at jake's words.

jake tsk at bella's tears forming. "me neither." she managed to speak, choking on some words.

jake wrapped his arm around bella's shoulder, bringing her closer to him. but before that, jake grabbed bella's cheeks as he gave a slight cheek.

"everything's good now?" jake asked in a soft and gentle tone- making sure bella is fine with everything now.

"yeah." bella hiccuped, sniffing her nose.

"what about those photos?" jake asked, making sure she's fine with everything everything.

she chuckled, "sunoo told me everything that happened."

jake wiped a tear, coming out of bella's eyes. "i'm sorry."

bella lightly shook her head, signaling to stop apologizing. "shut up that's gonna me cry even more." she playfully glared at bella.

"you're so beautiful in my arms." jake looked down at bella innocently who seemed to be suffocated by his arms wrapped around her body.

bella was silent due to embarrassment. she slightly grinned as jake kept staring at her in admiration.

jake grabbed bella's glasses and took them off her face.

surprised, bella was confused at jake- she twisted her eyebrows.

jake placed her glasses in his pockets as bella was eyeing jake innocently, blinking.

a blush was planted on bella's cheeks since jake kept eyeing her, without breaking eye contact.

jake slowly moved his face closer to bella with a softening expression. his eyes says it all-

bella was frozen, being still in jake's arms as the sky was becoming darker.

jake kept eyeing bella's lips. both of their hearts were beating in synchronization.

and before you knew it, jake's lips were softly pressed on bella's.
