jake suddenly stopped the car engine, leaving bella a bit confused while she was staring at the window.

jake parked his car in top for a hill, seeing some houses and cars driving by downhill.

this somehow felt a nostalgic for the two teenagers.

"we're here?" bella looked at jake with a neutral expression. jake looked at bella with a soft smile and his soft eyes after grabbing his keys.

"what do you think miss kang?" he mischievously replied, earning an irritated bella in response.

"wait." bella firmly said while looking down. her eyes shifted from the seatbelt, it wasn't coming off of her.

jake glanced at bella, struggling with the seatbelt while she was lowkey panicking in embarrassment and annoyance.

while bella was shaking and using all of her energy to take off her seatbelt, she felt a shift of warm presence in front of her.

jake leaned his body towards the passenger's seat, his arm holding the handle to keep his balance. his left arm shifting at the seatbelt.

she froze at the sudden action of jake, her eyes bulging at the ground, she couldn't even bare to look at jake's jawline for who knows what's gonna happen.

jake didn't mind, trying to unlock bella's seatbelt. bella was relieved when she heard the click.

jake looked at bella with a half smirk and raised eyebrows, "weak." he chuckled deeply with an amused tone that makes bella's cheeks go even redder.

bella gulped, "whatever." she muttered, puffing her cheeks as she was holding her breath. however jake didn't make a move.

even if bella was shifting her eyes somewhere else, jake's eyes would follow hers.

he made another chuckle before going back to his car seat, making bella catch her breath, inhaling slowly.

"i hope you fall of this goddam hill." bella muttered, shutting the passenger's door shut.

jake as well followed, gently closing his door as he walked near the edge of the hill where there was a huge single tree in front of them.

"just enjoy." jake slithered his hands on the pockets while bella was staring at awe of the beautiful sunset in front of them.

bella smiled, pulling up her phone. she positioned it in front of the sunset. "in this moment, this is perfect for instagram pictures." she muttered, making camera noises.

jake nodded, agreeing as he did take out his phone as well. although he took some quick snaps, he automatically shifted his camera towards bella's side profile.

her bright smile. her sparkling eyes. her soft hair touching her face because of the breeze. her full pink lips- were all captured by jake.

he was absolutely starstruck at bella's beauty- her blunt personality with her innocent expressions.

bella noticed in her peripheral vision, she looked at jake's camera directly capturing bella's full face features. her innocent gaze being captured by jake's snap.

"what are you doing?" bella raised her brow, questioning jake's action.

jake instantly shifted his phone in different areas to not get caught. "uh taking pictures?" he said in an unsure tone as if he was asking a question.

bella shrugged as she continued taking photos, jake exhaled slowly, his heart beat running a bit faster than usual.
