another day passed by as midnight occurred.

as usual, bella jumped out of window, running to the playground, excited to see jake as she was holding her squeal.

in her eyes, she probably met her prince.

jake was seen fiddling the sand with a random tree stick he picked up on his way here.

bella chuckled, 'cute'. she thought.

"jake!" bella kept a normal volume, not to scare him nor the neighbors. she smiled at jake while plotting her little self in the ground.

bella smile slowly faded after recognizing the aura around jake, downhearted and not uplifted just like before.

jake did smile at bella, a tight smile before starting to frown at the ground once she sat next to him.

bella must've thought that she did something.

"what's wrong?" bella asked, worried at jake's abnormal expression. did he cry before ?

jake puffed his cheeks before looking at bella.

"i don't think i can see you anymore."

bella widened her eyes, her heart beating faster in nervousness.

jake licked his dry lips before responding, "my parents are moving to australia."

bella didn't know what to say. was she supposed to be happy? sad? angry? because jake is leaving her?

"are you....coming back?" bella spoke up, sounding like a soft whisper with saddened eyes.

jake sighed. "i don't know yet."

bella started crying while walking to her house.

was that the bbq for? their last goodbye together?

bella remembered their interaction together.

"what is that?" bella poked the plastic cup with the straw on the side after sitting on the sand with jake. it was a ready-to-go coffee can that had french vanilla on the side of it.

"i heard it's coffee... i took it from the fridge." jake replied making bella chuckled at his behavior.

"wanna try it?" jake asked bella, not forcing her to try 'adult things'.

"will we die?" bella replied, hesitating as she never drank coffee in her whole life.

"even if we do, we're dying together." jake confidently said before poking the plastic cup with the straw.

bella's cheeks were firing up with warmth and shyness.

"take the first sip." jake politely let bella go first, crushing the plastic cover of the straw crumble in his pockets.

bella tilted her head, looking unsure to drink the unfamiliar taste.

"ew!" bella coughed, making a sour expression. "why does my mom drink this?" bella stuck out her tongue out due to the sour taste.

jake laughed at bella's expression. "hey don't laugh!" she whined as jake was holding his laugh.

"maybe when we are older, we would like this." jake set aside the coffee next to him as bella was being grumpy after tasting coffee.

"as if." she glared at the coffee sitting by itself.

"when i'm older i will give you the same coffee to you and see your reaction." jake teased bella.

"you're gonna be with me when i'm older?" bella blurted, gulping at jake's words.

jake half smirk, understanding what bella was thinking off.

"of course. and forever."

bella held herself in her bed, bitting her bottom lip tight to prevent herself from cries that her parents can possibly can wake up from.
