"come to the library with me."

bella scoffed at jake's confident suggestion, crossing his arms in front of her.

"say sike." bella snickered while the two of them were waiting home, well towards the library now since jake forced bella to come along.

"no i'm serious." jake replied, not giggling along with bella which created an awkward atmosphere.

"what?" bella eyed jake who kept a neutral expression, stopping her laughing when jake kept a blank stare.

"i'm helping you studying for exams if your brain isn't processing what i simply stated."

"no shit." bella replied. "i mean.." she furrowed her eyebrows at jake. "why are you helping me?" she asked.

jake pursed his lips together to think of an answer.
"just because..." jake blandly replied.

they both entered the library that was nearby the school, finding an empty table to sit on and study on their assignments.

they've found a table that at the window, the natural lighting helping them study better.

bella placed her book bag at the table, sliding it a bit far from her to easily get her books out as jake did the same thing too.

"i don't even know what the book is about..." jake sighed, feel defeated as he pulled out a worksheet, based on what book they're reading on.

"oh come on! it's romeo and juliet, how hard is that?" bella furrowed her eyes, side glancing at jake rubbing his temples with his hands out of frustration.

"i'm only good at math and physics!" he quietly exclaimed as bella placed her index finger at her lips to hush him down- shooting a glare at jake.

"i don't even know what the plot is about.."

bella scratched her face out of annoyance, "it's like a.. tragic story with love and feelings from two lovers." she spit out simply, trying to focus on her studies as well.

"sounds about us when we were little." jake chuckled amusingly.

bella almost choked at jake's sentence.

"i'm not the same as before. i was nine. people change." she harshly stated as she continued writing notes at her notebook.

"my feelings for you didn't."

bella stopped writing, her pen frozen at the unfinished work.

she looked at jake with an off guard expression, her eyebrows being furrowed at him while jake also stared back at bella with a hint of sadness in it.

it gave them a flashback.

as the two children were eating their favorite biscuits together in their playground, they kept giggling and laughing together.

two of them were laying flat on the flat with their biscuits in the middle of them, gazing at the stars together.

"when i'm older i'm definitely gonna be with you." bella spoke, grabbing a biscuit from the center and munching on it.

"really?" jake asked, eyes never leaving the starlights.

bella hummed. "you're like a prince charming."

jake shyly smiled, looking down at bella's words.

"then you'll be my princess?"

bella rubbed her lips together, shooting her head as she was avoiding eye contact with jake to stay focused after being reminded by that flashback.

"don't say that jake, feelings is a serious topic." bella spoke, sounding blunt and a bit angry.

"i am being serious." jake replied, giving the same tone as bella was speaking in.

bella broke eye contact, gulping as she tried to focus back on writing but jake was being a distraction.

jake sighed at bella and started leaning in more towards the table, starting to write in his notebook.

as jake was writing, he took a pause before looking at bella's side profile, noticing her focused lips pouting at her work.

as bella placed her pen between her lips to try solving an answer to her work, jake kept staring at her. bella was attractive in jake's eyes and he couldn't deny it.

jake involuntarily moved his hand upward, still holding his pen.

jake moved a piece of hair strand behind bella's ear, to see bella's face features better and clearer.

time stopped. bella slowly looked at jake- his eyes showing softness, sincerity, and lastly- full of love.

bella herself was also shocked, she couldn't speak a word nor do something. her lips opened a bit, lowering her pen. her eyes widening. and lastly her stomach getting butterflies to see jake's endearing eyes that she can see the whole universe in them.

they both looked at each other, and it felt like they had .. a connection.

"you're so pretty.." jake muttered his breath slowly, admiring bella's detailed features as bella couldn't speak at all- at the matter of fact couldn't even think.

'jake what are you doing to me?'
