"bye mom!" bella kissed her mom's cheeks, holding her plastic cup of coffee on one of her palms. the one her mom used to drink.

'shit i'm running late!'

bella's mom responded with a pat on her back, as bella hurriedly took her shoes to wear in front of the door step.

"have a good day at school" her mom yelled out to her as bella rushed out of her house, running to go to school with half of coffee finished.

"slow down tiger." sunghoon saw bella stopping her tracks, catching her breath and fixing her messy bangs that were now frizzy.

"shut up ice boy." bella blurted to sunghoon. sunghoon placed his hand on his heart, looking offended.

"someone is being a bit feisty-" before sunghoon gets to tease the little girl, bella shot up a glare at him, shutting him up instantly.

bella's aura was around strong but yet attractive. her blunt and honest personality brings out an attraction to people.

it was either because of bella's anger issues or her regular personality.

"geez sorry." sunghoon ruffled his soft hair pouting at bella for being angry.

"i'm running low on caffeine." bella rolled her eyes at sunghoon before she was walking by herself, going inside of the school.

"wait up!" sunghoon ran up to bella while bella was purposely running away from sunghoon.

"no go away, go talk to your fan girls of yours!" bella sharply turned around to sunghoon while going up the hill, teasing him with her tongue sticking out.

sunghoon panicked, not wanting to deal with that.

sunghoon quickly interlocked his arms with hers.
"no way, i don't wanna talk to them." sunghoon excused himself casually as bella scoffed at him.

they were currently walking towards their classroom with their arms interlocked, so no girls can walk up bothering to sunghoon. they didn't mind it too.

the bell rung as soon as sunghoon and bella entered the classroom as students fled to go to their classrooms not to get late.

"why do you come here so early?" sunghoon eyed jay who welcomed them with a smile and a light wave.

"why do you come here so late?" jay replied as he rolled his eyes at sunghoon who pouted.

jay turned around to bella who threw her coffee away. his eyes planted on their interlocked arms.

he chuckled in amusement. "always locking arms i see." jay started to tease as sunghoon realized that they have been interlocking arms for the past five minutes.

sunghoon instantly removed his arm from bella, getting embarrassed. bella smiled at sunghoon.

"enjoyed?" she asked while sitting at her seat at the window. sunghoon rolled his eyes at bella.

"don't flatter yourself. it should be a privilege that you're friends with the most handsome person ever!" sunghoon defended himself as bella shrugged at him.

"sit down big baby, teacher is coming soon." jay lightly grabbed sunghoon's arm behind him- advising him to not get in trouble.

sunghoon huff his cheeks before sitting next to the empty seat next to jay.

"meanie." sunghoon muttered as he glared at bella in front of him.

the teacher entered after bella was laughing at sunghoon.

the classroom was instantly quiet, greeting the teacher.

"attention." jay, the class president insisted. he stood up from his desk. "good morning teacher." he bowed in a formal manner.

as soon as jay greeted, the rest of the students stood up greeting the teacher politely.

"good morning to everyone as well." the teacher smiled warmly as greeted. the students' eyes were focused and attentive to the teacher.

the teacher took out a piece of paper, much like a petition with a smile. "surprise~ this is a petition of your senior trip. pick which option you wanna visit." the teacher informed.

the students lightly squealed, with excitement.

"ah last year of high school." bella spoke, having a sentimental and cheesy tone in her voice.

"that's why we need to make it fun for you guys." the teacher replied, handing each petition to the front row students.

"we have a beach party, camping trip, carnival trips, or a cruise to jeju island." the teacher read the four choices as the students nodded, impressed.

"can't we do all four?" a student whined. the teacher chuckled.

"we don't have enough money for that." the teacher excused. "oh! we have a new transfer student."

everyone's eyes alerted to the teacher in shocked. a new student in their last year?

the door opened. everyone's eyes looked at the black haired guy. well except for bella, she was too focused on her own thoughts to choose what location she wanted.

bella fidgeted with the pen as she leaned against her fist with her arm up. bella didn't seem interested with the transfer student compared to the rest of the students.

bella crossed her desired location, writing a check on the empty box before folding it.

"hi, i'm jaeyun."

bella paused with that familiar name. but she shrugged it off, eyes focused on the paper, 'there's multiple jaeyun's in korea. it can't be the jaeyun i know.'

"but you can call me jake."

bella immediately looked up, seeing the black haired student next to the teacher. he looked different, there was no more baby fat she recognized back then. he had well defined features, especially his jawline.

bella gulped at the sight. "nice to meet you." jake bowed down as cheers were heard from the classmates, mostly because he was good looking.

looks like bella is screwed.
