jack's pov
alex drives to the rehab center silently, we left sabrina behind, she felt really sick after danielle's last meltdown, she couldnt bear to see her friend do that bad.

we've known danielle years before she met her, danielle didnt really fit in with any of the girls, and her and sabrina clicked right away, they'd sleepover and take silly videos and pictures and send it to us back in highschool.

"please behave, i want her back" alex tells me and i nod, it made everyone in the band upset. even mike green, he missed her silly little jokes during production.

we park and alex takes a deep breath. "you ready?" he asks me taking off his black rayban glasses.

"yeah, yeah i'm ready" i lie as i nod, exiting his his car, entering the rehab center. it smelled like bleach and hand sanitizer, there was alot of windows that let in alot of light, not the way danielle liked it. i head to the front desk to ask to see her. it has been months.

"danielle quinn yeah" i tell the nurse at the desk.

"one minute, please wait at these tables" the nurse gives me a fake smile as she gets up to get danielle, me and alex sat down on two white chairs and a white table, people all around us visiting their loved ones.

i play around with my glasses handles hoping time passes by faster, this is the longest ive went without her, this is the biggest fight we've ever had, even as teenagers we'd hangout daily on break.

the nurse returns with danielle, she had big plaid pants on, and some tshirt, she smiles big when she sees us.

"alex!!" she yells and hugs him really tightly, as she pretends i wasnt even there, she didnt even say hi.

"danielle" alex starts sobbing in her hug.

"umm i'm sorry? you arent supposed to do sad stuff here, get your shit together" she punches at his chest as he wipes his tears laughing and they both sit down.

"um hey how are you doing?" i tell her hoping she recognizes that i'm even here.

"good" she coldly replies to me, she still hasn't forgave me, i know it.

i wouldnt either.

"how has it been here? how are you feeling?" alex asks her as he holds her hand.

"oh i'm actually much better, i'm 100% clean now, i'm supposed to be discharged in a couple of weeks" she tells him while smiling, she gained a bit of her weight back and her face doesnt look sick anymore.

"that's good, i'm so excited for you to finally be back" he tells her, alex and danielle are so attached to each other, they've known each other since they were really little kids, i cant imagine how he must've felt.

"yeah trust me too, i miss the studio and guitar already" she tells alex.

"HELL YEAH! once you are out, we are practicing for tours, many agents called me wanting to do interviews with us, get it over with babe" alex says to lift her spirit.

"right on it, i'll call you when they discharge me" she tells alex.

"you're going?" alex asks in disappointment.

"yep, its time for myy medss" she nods as she gets up, and so do we.

"okay love, take care of yourself" alex pats her on the shoulder.

"please check up on ronnie and try getting him help" she says with a frowned face.

"dont worry about it" alex says and pulls her in one last hug, she gets up and starts walking away.

"danielle?" i slightly yell and she stops, turning her back to me.

"yeah?" she turns her back to me before the nurse takes her back to her room.

"i miss you" i tell her, i really do, and i cant imagine how will i do if she isnt with me when shes out.

"thought so" she turns away from me and leaves me hanging in there.

"its not gonna work" alex shrugs his shoulders as he walks out with his sunglasses on, twirling his keys around.

we ride his car and he drives off, playing fall out boy, i angrily turn down the volume.

"why the fuck does she talk to me like that" i say in fury.

"you know it jack, if you told her instead of her finding out that way, it would have been different" he says as he drives.

"we could have talked it out, she cant just treat me like that forever" i tell him.

"what if she doesnt interfere with you ever again? what if she sees other people? you have to be prepared for such thing." alex tells me.

"dont fucking jinx it, we'll figure it out when she's out of rehab." i cross my arms in anger, just at the thought of her being with someone else.

it drives me mad.
