"vicc my mann" jaime hugs vic fuentes, we havent seen him since we recorded a love like war months ago, and scheduled this videoclip to be shot in august. they exchange some words in spanish and they sit down.
"congrats on king for a day, it sounds really good!!" i congratulate vic on his latest collab with kellin quinn, the song had such great lyrics, instrumental and screamo, i swear he begged us to let him scream but we couldnt because of our genre.
king for a day's theme was a bank robbery, it was shot in a bank, but a love like war's video clip's theme will be a cinema, like a movie theater kind of thing, and today was the day we finally shoot, we were planning to release this song in september, then we were expected to tour for dont panic, its longer now early 2013.
jack, alex, mike, jaime and vic were all down the studio, and the director was discussing with us how the video will get filmed.
we shoot the first part from the music video, jack was supposed to get up in the middle of movie to play the guitar, and he hits the notes, the next shot was alex singing in a cinema corridor as jack plays the guitar in the background as he spins.
"make a wish on our sorry little hearts, have a smoke pour a drink, steal a kiss in the dark, fingernails on my skin like a teeth of a shark, i'm intoxicated by the lie" alex says.
"CUT" the director yells.
"OH COME ON MAN I THOUGHT I DID GOOD" alex yells at the director.
"alex honeypie nobody said you did bad, i'm just gonna explain how the next shot is gonna go like.
he explains to us that we'll be infront of a screen as the movie plays, we get mike's drumkit infront of the screen, jaime on the right side and me and jack on the left playing the guitar.
"in the chill of your stare i'm painfully lost like a deer in the lights of an incoming bus, for the thrill of your touch i will shamefully lust, as you tell me we're nothing but trouble (trouble, trouble, trouble)" me and jack look at each other during this shot, for some reason, he helped alex write this song which makes it even more awkward, the director did end up cutting this part out and the next part was vic asking jaime about something, jaime points the direction vic came from and vic flips out the two popcorns he had.
