Not a Cinderella story but close

Chapter 22/ The Film

It's been six days and we are all ready.

 We met Tuesday night again to make sure nothing had changed and that no one had any other ideas to add to the plan. We have been texting each other nonstop for days. We are ready. The football game was canceled today because one of the players was caught with steroids in his locker. The squad hides in the locker room at 6:00 and the four of us lure the guys here at 6:30. Since it's the fall it's already dark outside. Me and East lure Rex and Jason here saying we'll make out for them. North gets Tanner here with the promise of getting back together. Fenix gets Jack here with blackmail. They'll snitch on Tanner if Jack doesn't come. 

Jack is Tanner's best friend, he'll come. The four, well thirty of us are waiting for the guys when they show up. Rex and Jason get there first. Me and East grabbed both Rex's and Jason's hands and dragged them in. North grabbed Tanner's hand outside and dragged him in. Jack just walks in. I snap my fingers and suddenly the guys are surrounded. It only takes a second and they don't even know. The squad makes sure to stay in the dark. "Hey what are they doing here?" Tanner asks North looking at the rest of us. She drops his hand like a dead weight and doesn't answer, just walks towards the middle of the circle of light, where Fenix is already standing. Jason and Rex ask the same. Me and East drop their hands and walk towards North and Fenix. 

We don't answer any of them. Jack just stands there looking tense. After a while Jack says "What is this?" "Oh nothing, just a little revenge for everything that you've done to all of us" North says looking at Tanner with a glare that could drop a cow. "What do you mean, all of you?" Jason says looking around. "Guys you can come into the light now" Fenix says. They step forward and the four of us step back to meet them. We are in a full circle around the guys and they all tense up. "Okay what do you want?" Rex says rubbing his hands on his pants probably from sweat. "Simple, we want you to admit it," East says looking at all four of them. "Admit what?" Tanner says with a suspicious look. 

"EVERYTHING that you've ever done to this community" Fenix says motioning to all of us. Tanner laughs "Oh I see you brought the fags here" he says. Rex and Jason start to laugh "What are they gonna do, give us a pride flag?" Jason asks. "Do you guys hate lgbtq or are you secretly gay yourself?" I ask, crossing my arms. The guys shuffle looking mad all except for Jack. "I'm not no fag" Rex says. "Yeah I'm not no fag" Jason says laughing and Tanner nods in agreement. "So do you admit that you hate gay people?" North says looking at Tanner. "I believe that they should take that crap somewhere else, maybe off a bridge" Tanner says and laughs. Rex and Jason join in high fiving Tanner. 

"What about you Jack?" East asks. "I don't have a problem, I just want to make sure that you don't make us lose state" He says pointing at Fenix. "Oh come on man it's disgusting" Rex says looking at Jack. "You didn't think it was disgusting when Me and East told you and Jason to meet us here saying that we would kiss in front of you" I say waving my hands between me and East. "Well yeah cause that's hot" Jason chimes in. "So when Fred and his boyfriend Alex kiss that's not ok?" East asks, pointing to them, they're holding hands. "Well no" Rex says laughing looking at Fred and Seth. Then looking at Jason who's laughing as well.

"Guys your turn" I say Me, Fenix,North and East, taking a step back. "Why did you call us the F-slur when we held hands last year?" Mary and Sherry say, holding up their hands that are clasped together. Rex and Jason didn't answer. "Why did you tell me that I'll never be a guy because I have big boobs?" Gary says looking at Tanner with a cold look. "Because you never will be," Tanner says matter of factly and smiles. "Why did you have to yell "That's so hot, again" at me and Willow?" Tara asks Rex as she gets in his face. He doesn't answer. 

This goes on for an hour and the strange part is they never try to leave. 

No one ever asks Jack anything either until. "Why did you have to punch me when I told you that I would stay quiet about Tanner calling me and Iris fags and that's what started the fight?" Fenix asks Jack. He never replied, never even looked at them, just looked really tensely at the ceiling. "Why did you write you'll never be non-binary because you have big boobies on a note and stick it to my locker" Fenix asks Tanner. All he did was smile. 

"I hope you're all proud of yourselves, I hope you rot'' North says looking at Tanner. "Guys let's go" I say and we all disband. The guys shuffled out like they were being chased. I go to the person who was filming. "Did you get it?" I ask Ash. "Yes every word" They say smiling. The next day we all meet at the mall and put the video on a DVD, flash drive, and send it to all of our phones. We CAN NOT lose this video. On Monday we're going to show it to the principal. Fenix, North, East and me. We were ready to tell, but not for the punishment that we would all get....
