Chapter 43/ One fight

North POV

I wake East up the next day thinking maybe if I can get her to agree while she's sleepy then maybe she will go. "Hey sleepy head" I say, putting a TV tray with breakfast over her sides. She leans up. "What time is it?" East asks. "It's 8:00." I say. East tries to go back to sleep. "Wait, I have a question to ask" I say. "Can't this wait?" She asks. "No it can't" I say. "Alright might as well eat" She says leaning back up and she starts eating the food on the tray. 

"Would you consider going on another date with Fenix?" I ask hoping she's too tired to notice. She stops eating and looks at me. "Um what?" she asks, fork in hand. I lean forward and grab the fork and put it back on the tray before I continue. "So here's the thing...I might of....sort of....kinda...ok so Fenix was really mad and when Iris took me to the woods Fenix showed up and tried to fight Iris but I held them back and then Iris told me to let Fenix go and then I did and Fenix kept yelling at Iris and saying that it was all her fault why you broke up with them and they told Iris that they weren't friends anymore and I thought of a plan. I asked Fenix to the mall pretending to be you and then I told them that the reason that you broke up with them is because you weren't ready for love yet and then told them that you loved them and I got you guys back together and you have a date tonight" I say really fast and when I'm done I'm out of breath.

 East is quiet for a while. Then she says "I'm going to kill you". "What?" I ask. She jumps out of her bed and tackles me to the floor. She starts punching my face and I use my hands to block them. Then I shove her off and sit on her back. She squirms to get away. "Girls what is going on?" Our mom asks standing in the door. "Uh nothing" I say getting off of East and giving her a hand up. We stand there and wait for our mom to say something. "North go to your room and East stay here" She finally says. I walk out of East's room and look back. East is giving me her "I'll get you" look. I turn back around and go to my room and shut the door. 

After an hour I sneak out and go back to East's room. She was waiting for me and tackled me to the ground again. She tries to punch me again but I stop her hand and say "Let's go somewhere else where you can yell at me instead of doing this" I say. "Fine" she says, getting off of me. I get up and we go down stairs. Our mom gives us a look as I grab my keys and we head out the door together. I get in the front and drive us to the park. We get out and sit on the bench. "Ok you can explode now" I say, seeing her tense. She stands up waving her arms. "I had EVERYTHING under CONTROL. I WAS FINE! FENIX WOULD HAVE GOTTEN OVER ME! But YOU! YOU HAD to come in and fix something THAT WAS NEVER YOURS TO BEGIN WITH!" East yells at me. It's so loud that the birds in the trees overhead fly away. 

"Oh really? You haven't gotten out of bed in THREE DAYS! I was trying to help my girlfriend and my sister. And NO ONE EVER asked ME how it felt to have your sister hurt your girlfriend because she still loves her! YOU have NO right to tell Fenix that you are still in love with Iris!" I say huffing. "YOU had NO right telling Fenix that I LOVE them. Which I DON'T! East yells. "Well then WHY DID YOU STAY WITH THEM?!" I yell. "BECAUSE I WANTED TO FEEL LOVED!" East yells at the top of her lunges, a tear running down her face. I take a step back thinking that that's what I said when I said that I told Iris that I loved her on East and Iris's anniversary all those months ago. 

"That's no excuse!" I say. "I could say the SAME to YOU!" East says. "Are you going to go on the date tomorrow or not?" I ask. "NO!" East shouts. "How can I make it any more clearer NO! NO! NO!" East says. "You'll have to explain to Fenix why" I say crossing my arms. "No you'll have to do that yourself" East says crossing her arms and walking away. "Where are you going?" I ask. "Away from YOU!" East shouts. East gets into my car and drives away. I call Iris to come and pick me up. What I never expected was that East told Fenix that it was me that day instead of her.
