We get in the car from the library and drive to Bow's house. Last night we got a call from Iris and North saying that Jimmy admitted it. "How are we going to convince Bow that their girlfriend, well ex girlfriend, was dared to kiss Liam or she had to break up with them?" I ask glancing at East in the passenger seat. "I have no idea," East says looking back at me.
We pull into this long driveway surrounded by trees. When we finally get to the house it's a small one floored house with brown shutters, three windows and a yellow front door. A massive porch and a peach color. Other than a little front yard with some grass and some trees there isn't much green around. Me and East get out of the car, I lock the doors and put the keys in my pocket. We walk towards the porch and ring the doorbell. Bow opens the door with crazy hair, sweatpants, and a huge t-shirt that looks like a nightgown.
"Oh hey guys" Bow says rubbing at their eyes "Come on in" they say yawning and stretching out their arms as they go back inside. We walk in and we see a small kitchen and follow Bow into a small living room with a lounge chair and a small couch. Bow sits on the couch. "So what's up?" Bow asks. "We have some news about Lace," East says. Bow gets up from the couch and says "I don't want to hear it". Then starts pacing in front of us while chewing their fingernails. "Bow," I say, trying to calm them. They just keep pacing. "BOW!" East shouts. Bow stops and gives her a look and then sits on the couch again, their leg tapping at the floor. I look at East with my eyes wide.
"What we needed them to stop pacing," East says. "Fine just tell me. What did she say? That I was a bitch? Heartless? An ass?" Bow asks us. "No, Lace's taking the break up very hard actually" North says. "Oh" Bow says looking down at the floor. "Bow" I say. They look up at me. "Before the party Lace was given a dare." I say looking at East to finish the rest. "If she didn't do the dare which was to kiss Liam then she had to break up with you." East finishes. "Why would someone dare them to do that?" Bow asks. "Because he had a crush on Lace" I say. "So you know who it was?" Bow asks.
"Yes, it's Jimmy," East says. "Wow I did not see THAT coming" Bow said leaning back onto the couch pondering what we said. "When you see Lace can you ask her why she even went through with it?" Bow asks us. "Sure" I reply not having much hope. "So do you think that you could give Lace another chance?" East asks. "I need to think about it. I think that you guys should leave. I need some time to process all of this" Bow says standing up. "We understand," I say. Me and East show ourselves out and then tell North and Iris what happened. I thought about it later and there was just one question left unsolved. Who sent the message on the group chat?
