Chapter 41/ BAD Plan

POV Fenix 

When I get back to my house I flop on my bed like a dead weight. 

I'm glad that I didn't hurt Iris, but I'm still not going to forgive her for what she did to me. I grab my pillow and scream into it. No ones at the house so no one can hear not that they would care if they did hear anyway. I haven't heard anything from East other than she fell for Iris. I keep checking my phone for her to say more, but nothing. You know it's my fault for falling so damn hard. Oh wait she sent something back. I sit up. 

"Come meet me tonight in the park. I feel bad about how things ended. Please." she sent. I don't know if I should go, but I need more of an explanation like why did she say yes the second time? Or why didn't she break up with me sooner? I need to go. I get in my car and drive to the mall. I walked in and sat on the bench that months ago me and Iris sat at thinking of ways to get the guys back for what they did. I smile at the memory and then my fist clenches up at the thought that after everything we have been through, Iris would do this to me. 

"Hey" East says, sitting down next to me. She looks fine like she doesn't have a care in the world, what a bitch. She's wearing a pink track suit and tennis shoes. Her hair is in a ponytail. Something is off, but I can't tell what. "Hey" I say after a while of studying her. "How have you been?" She asks. "Fine" I say lying, not wanting her to know the truth. "I know that you probably have questions..." East says. I turn to face her. "Why didn't you break up with me sooner if you knew that you were still in love with Iris?" I ask, looking her in the eye. "The truth is it was never about Iris" East says putting her hand over mine. 

I move my hand. "You told me that the reason that we couldn't be together was because of Iris" I say confused. "The truth is it was always you," East says. "Then why did you break up with me?" I ask, even more confused. "I don't know, because I was scared? When you told me you loved me I freaked and I wanted to run away. And then I did" East says looking at the bench. "I never wanted to hurt you. I love you too Fenix." East says looking up from the bench. My world spins for a few seconds. 

"What did you say?" I ask, not sure I heard her right. "I love you," East says kissing me. I kiss back and then pull back. "Wait," I say out of breath. "Are you serious?" I ask. "Yes" she says out of breath as well. I kissed her for a long time not wanting it to end. You can guess what happened. North took East's place that night and made up with Fenix so that they wouldn't blame Iris.
